Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale I have I believe a 1964 willys cj5 tuxedo park with 15000 original mileage. This was purchased from the original owner. I had this running a couple years ago it ran great the dauntless v6 ran great and it drove good. The trencher worked just as it should. It is equipped with a half cab that is in great shape. There is some small spots of surface rust here or there but it Is rock solid no rot. The trencher has been on since day one I have the tailgate that was removed to install it. Along with the jeep I have a ton of spare trencher parts there is almost enough to build a second trencher minus the boom. I have no clue what this is worth I don’t want to give it away if interested message me and we can talk.”

“A 1961 Jeep CJ5 with Warn Overdrive. This jeep has 68,000 original miles. With the exception of the tires and new suspension, the Jeep is all original as factory shipped. It is in very good condition, very reliable, and very gently used. Vehicle was acquired 20 years ago from a PA estate sale.
The original body has been patched. The frame is solid. The body under carriage has surface rust, and was patched, as to be expected for a 57 year old vehicle, but is very solid for its age. The body was repainted to match the original color (sky blue). The paint is in good condition, but certainly not show quality.

“1955 Willys M-170 Military Frontline Ambulance. Very good condition, runs and operates fine. Similar to an M-38A1 or CJ5, but it has a 20″ longer wheelbase. CJ6 later used the same wheelbase. 4 cylinder F Head motor, 24 volt, 3 speed. They made around 4000 between 1953 and 1955. The price $6500 firm. If interested respond with name and number.”
