It’s been roughed up a bit, but runs.

“1954 Willys Jeep M170 which is the military vehicle that inspired the CJ-6/Scrambler/Unlimited. It is an M38A1 stretched at the factory 20″ with about a 101″ wheelbase. This particular one appears to be USMC used for mobile radio rather than ambulance, but it has some of the ambulance features like holes in the tailgate and flip passenger seat. The M170 is a pretty rare Jeep as they only made a little over 6000 of them.
It has a good running F-Head 134 Huricane, T-90 3 speed manual, Dana 18 transfer case, original driveshafts and stock axles front and rear with 5.38s. I need to look again, but I think the front is a Dana 25 and rear Dana 44. Transmission is currently not installed and the engine is not currently wired/plumbed, just bolted in place, but I have driven them and they worked fine for me.
Some signs of body work/dents around the drivers door, hood and cowl. The fenders are rough, but they would work if you cut them for tire clearance. Other than that, amazingly rust free for the age including all the various storage boxes this model has.
Comes with a tow bar.”
