Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This 1956 Wagon brochure Form W-253-6 likely has an export version labeled Form W-253-6X, yet I have had no luck locating it. I expect the export version design will be similar to Form W-250-6X (CJ-5/CJ-6/CJ-3B) and Form W-252-6X (Truck). This brochure opens up to 17″x11″.

“1953 Military Jeep M38A1. Selling my military jeep. Lots of work done, including, brakes, new radiator, new top, batteries, and much more.. This jeep has no rust!!. Body in great shape. A great survivor. Selling to fund another project. Has original 24 volt electrical system. Comes with Overdrive transmission/PTO. Also has side canvas doors. (Full winter top). This April 1946 ad from the Playthings Magazine(?) looks like an Al-Toy, though it doesn’t mention Al-Toy or West-Craft. Instead, Joseph Shaw Manufacturers seems to be taking credit for their production.
