(12/06/2019) Has lots of mods.
“1942 Willy’s Military WWII Jeep All original body frame and most drivetrain. Has wrangler leaf springs Dana 44’s front and rear for top loader 3 speed tranny Dana 20 transfer case custom cv drive shafts new clutch motor is a 1967 327 Chevy mildly built all accessories are new motor has very low mileage as well as Jeep since it was built by me. Has working moave Hester under pass dash. Has a GM tilt steering column with the ignition key shaved off. Al new gauges and senders. New seat cushions and covers. Runs excellent and has lots of power. This is a survivor there aren’t many left to restore.. Very rare to find one this clean from 1942 and I’m almost certain this Jeep saw war/battle.”
UPDATE: Dan’s got a good thread related these trucks at the Old Willys Forum. The 1956 June-July issue of Willys News included a reference to this vehicle.
I suspect this brochure, Form W-F56-1, was published in 1956, so I’ll republish it here as we are attempting to move through the 1956 brochure year. My guess is that this eight page brochure was a lunch brochure for the light duty rescue truck.
One great thing is that it has a list of all the equipment that is supposed to come with truck, plus a picture showing how it was organized in the back.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $375.
Ed shared this link for this nice looking Hamilton Air Force Pedal Jeep.
“1950’s vintage Hamilton U.S. Air Force Military Jeep Pedal Car. This pedal car is mostly original from what I can tell and in amazing condition. It is fully functional and turning and pedaling work great. Asking $375 or best offer. Can deliver on base.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
Here’s an oddly updated flattie. Note the headlight mods. Runs!
“Looking to sell my Willy’s jeep Original Flathead 4 cylinder / 3 speed trans with PTO I bought this jeep out of a barn where it sat for many years. I do not have a title for it. I put brand new correct style tires and a brand new carb on it. Several other odds and ends to get it running. It runs and drives as good as a Willys ever did.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000.
Appears good shape.
“1957 jeep willys truck all original drivetrain inline 6. 3 speed in the floor runs and drives clean title looking to sale or trade for jeep wrangler,4×4 truck, diesels or a 5.0 mustang”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $850.
Engine siezed. Has fiberglass body.
“1948 Jeep Willy has 283 Chevy v8 4 speed Muncie trans motor is locked up stock front and rear end stock transfer case and steering box is froze up $850 doesn’t have title fiberglass body fenders and good has good glass and windshield frame”
The seller was unsure what model this was, but I’d guess based on the body and grille that this is a late 1946-early 47 CJ-2A.

“Part of an estate so I know very little about it. It was kept under a tarp but the body is pretty rusty. Floors are the worst. Southern vehicle so underside is good. Photos tell the story. I don’t know much but will answer any questions I can. North Alabama”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Bill shared this rusty GPW. The frame has rot, too.
“1942 Ford GPW Serial Number 8727, DOD 3-19-42. Early Script GPW with flat top grill. Has the first Ford frame with squared front frame horns that are in very good condition. GPW Engine Serial number GPW 12436 stuck and need rebuilding. The Jeep is title is under then engine #. The jeep has a fully transferable Bonded Title in my name. This GPW will need a full restoration has rust in typical areas like the shovel/axe area, fuel tank sump and on the passenger side step. Floors only have a couple of spots of rust through but have a significant amount of pitting. I’m not sure if that can be repaired. Surprisingly the hat channels are solid. The frame is straight but has rust through in 3 spots that will need to be repaired. Has allot of F script parts to includeDriver and Passenger seats Early Scalloped AxelsTransmission Shifter Cover Early Oil DipstickRear Top Bow BracketsBumperettes Ax Swivel BracketHood HingeRadiatorEarly Ford Glove Box Door”
These might be a set of Renegade rims.
http://www.earlycj5.com/xf_cj5/index.php?threads/renegade-rims-15×7-forged.140801/
“I have a set of 4 Renegade rims. 5×5.5” bolt pattern. I’m not sure, but I believe these are original to the 72-75 renegades, but will fit any CJ.
They are all stamped “FORGED” on the back side. Also a number is found stamped on each rim. 3 have the number 3153655, and 1 has the number 3153542. These numbers don’t mean much to me, but they may to someone.
These are in really nice shape with no damage and should look like new with a good polishing. $400 for the set. Would consider shipping at your expense, but pickup in Newtown CT preferred.”
Not sure how much value is here.

“1947 Willy’s nice and crusty ready for a full restoration or Hot Rod. Complete with a clean Pennsylvania title in my name”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,800.

“Selling a running and driving 1952 Jeep Willy. This is one rare breed of jeeps and a driving one that gets attention wherever it goes!! Such a fun little Jeep to drive around town and the beach. It gets smiles whenever it’s on the road and the wind blowing through your hair in this classic is the best Cali feeling in the world!! Don’t miss this opportunity to get this rare classic and make some great memories doing so!! It has a 4 cylinder 4 speed manual and runs strong! Suspension is tight and handles well for what it is.”
Given the cage in the rear, it must have been used for hunting. No description provided.

“I am posting my 45 MB for sale. Basically I am looking for a house and need to free up some money for a downpayment! My loss is your gain. Open to offers!
Here is a 1945 Willy’s MB. All body sheet metal is original. New safety glass windshield. The motor is I believe an early CJ2A. It’s a strong runner (can do over 60 easily), but I believe is developing a leaky rear main seal. T-84 trans; and proper WWII style transfer case. Earlier transfer case as it has the external parking brake. 4 original combat wheels with newer firestone NDTs. New rear springs as of 2 years ago.
Older canvas and foam seats but a like new top made by Farrel Fox 3 years ago. Does NOT come with the dummy machine gun but does come with the dash mount installed. Data plates are reproduction. All original rebuilt differentials. Radiator is original war time. If you’re from the Albany NY area you may recognize her; she’s done a lot of events up here since 2010! Just want to see it go to a good home”
Could be worth a look. Has some Husky/Allstate hubs.

“1945 Willy’s overland Jeep. Delivered to the Army Feb 6 1945. Spent the war in the Philippines and was brought back to the U. S. Late 90’s and restored. I have owned it 10 plus years and have restored it once on my own in 2014. Jeep located in oxford md. For storage but can be transported on its own trailer. Many parts include. To much to list. Price negotiable but don’t low ball. This Jeep will do nothing but appreciate in value over time.”
