UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000
(02/19/2020) James shared this combo for sale. One has a title and one doesn’t.
“1. 1960 wide track 134 Fhead motor. t90 3 speed transmission. PTO on the back. dana 18 transfer case dana 44 front and rear axles in 5.38 gears. i bought this as a complete truck. i have a title for this one. i took it apart to restore it. project lost steam. the rear counterweight is there.
when i got it home, i put a brand new Toyota starter on it, poured some gas down the carb, hot wired it, and the engine fired right up and purrs like a kitten. this was after cleaning the points, obviously as it sat for 20 years. i was going to restore this into my dream truck, but i dont have the patience for this long term project.
to update the mechanical s, i bought, but haven’t installed:
*new clutch kit
*new electronic distributor to get rid of the old points and condensers
*new coil
* new wilwood brake MC, and brake brackets (converted to disk brakes).
*new radiator
*new lots of stuff…..just cant think of it all at the moment. the body is rough, but its all there.
2. 1958 jeep FC150. this is the narrow track version, closer to a CJ. same motor/tranny as above. i bought this one for parts for my restore, but got sick of working on the ’60 and got this one driving, just to say i drove an FC. body is a little better than than the red one. *NO TITLE FOR THIS ONE*
all interior parts are there for both.
i have a new windshield that comes with the sale.
i have a spare set of upper back corners that come with the sale.
i put salvage in condition, but they are both fairly solid, and can be combined to a heck of a nice jeep.
there are TWO complete FCs. i will not seperate anything.
UPDATE: Still Available.
(03/06/2020) The engine was recently rebuilt. Body has some rust.

“If this is posted, yes it’s still available. I will no longer respond to the 30-40 people per day asking that question.
A literal barn-find 1947 CJ2A. Good title in hand. Mostly complete and in unmolested condition. Does NOT run. Bring a trailer and cash, or ask about possibly delivering (for a fee). Needs restoration.
Our business is restoring WWII and classic Jeeps. We simply have too many projects, so we’re letting this one go to free up some space. Does NOT run. NEEDS restoration. HAS title. PROJECT Jeep”
Chris spotted this Jeep dealer photo taken in Galax, Virginia, on a Carroll County Facebook page. If you look carefully, you’ll see the round ‘Service’ Jeep sign (painted?) on the building with an extra large “P”.
There’s still a Mink Motor Sales company that sells used cars. I can’t tell if this venture is the same location as shown in in the pic below.
Verne Simons tackles identifying the early CJ-2A in the article posted to Four Wheeler.
This image shows a CJ-2 jeep with a welding setup(?). The “JEEP” on the windshield coupled with the position of the spare tire are clues to the model. This image is placed atop a metal sign as part of the purchase.
It’s missing a few stock details (pto bar and rear lights), but otherwise looks in good shape.

“Fully restored numbers matching 1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep painted in the factory yellow color. Original drive train. This Jeep runs and drives and stops fine. Everything operates as it should. Also has Rebuilt engine. Im exploring a trade for an equal value RUNNING AND DRIVING RESTORED Model A Ford in Trade. I will NOT chop up your Model A for a hotrod or ratrod. It will be driven and enjoyed like I did with the Willys Jeep. Please, dont contact me if you’re not serious or with a fixer upper.”

“M38A1 Military Jeep & M-100 Military trailer. The real thing!
Rebuilt original 4 cyl engine, carburetor, & fuel pump – everything works well.
Trailer has a removeable wooden seat(s) insert and a tubular framework for a top.
Ask price is $7,500 OBO (Verbal appraisal is Approx $12M for the pair).
Cool little piece for a country house, cottage or farm.”
I can’t tell how solid (or not) the body is. It could just be covered with some Western Washington moss.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $150.
This came out of a 1943 MB/GPW. If you are looking for an alternative engine, this makes a good one, especially at this price.

“First year after war production. Starts, runs, drives. Needs glass for windshield. Windshield frame and tailgate not shown, but included. Pretty nice shape now, it was a basket case when I got it. No title, but I have bill of sale from previous owner. Make a really good hunt vehicle.”

“Very Early Civilian model CJ2A. If this ad is still up it’s still for sale. Ser#18711, ’46 column shift. The frame, drivetrain, and body have been primered. This jeep does not have an engine. The body has had some bad spots cut out and patch panels made. The panels fit great but are not welded in. You can weld in these panels, or buy reproductions and use them depending on how precise of a restoration you want to do. This is a great restoration candidate, still has the column shifter and transmission. I do have other parts available for this project.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3500.
(08/19/2019) It’s a project.

“I have owned this 1951 Willys CJ3A since 1979. So many great memories made with this jeep and with a little TLC another generation can experience the Willys vibe. I took it apart for a frame up restore in 1981 but never got around to putting it back together (military, marriage, kids). It has the original T90 transmission with a Novak adapter bolted to a Buick Dauntless 225 V-6 (has about 60K miles on engine). Frame is solid with new leaf hangers and bushings. The tub, fenders, hood, tailgate, grill and windshield frame are in excellent shape and were sand blasted and coated with a heavy 3M primer before it was stored. This jeep has been barn stored for the past 36 years. Just needs to be reassembled and painted. Includes original backseat and added roll bar.”
Jesse and Andrea made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s FC Round Up due to COVID-19. I believe it the right decision, not because I feared becoming ill, but because I have two health-compromised living with me, so I must be vigilant about not bringing it home. Because iof that, I was about to contact them and explain that I could not attend, which was especially hard because I was going to attend with my son.
This image seems to show a Jeepster Commando version of the CJ-5-camper concept. It’s unclear to me whether this was a prototype design or someone’s custom creation. Anyone ever seen other pics of this?

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Might be worth a look.
This is an early CJ2A Willys Jeep with a column shift. Jeep was originally green with yellow wheels. Tub and frame have original matching vin tags. Trans and transfer case are original. I have another original column that goes with including new shift rods. Engine is free but has small crack in water jacket. I am including another early cj block that is in good shape. I wanted to restore this one as column shift jeeps were only made for a few months. Plans have changed so it is up for sale.”
