“A true barn find. 1953 Willys Jeep that has been stored in a shed for 30 years. Starts right up and runs great. Also has an extra set of tires that goes with it. Will sell for $3500 or best offer.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(08/24/2019) Looks in good shape.

“1948 Willys, CJ-2A. Rebuilt 4 cylinder “Go-Devil” Motor, transmission, transfer case, front and rear axles. New exhaust system including manifold , driveshaft, clutch, brake shoes, brake drums, brake lines, master cylinder, all pedals, water pump, all gauges, distributor, coil ,front axel shafts, wiring, front and rear leaf springs, leaf spring shackles, shocks and much, much more.
This Willys uses the original 6 volt system via a 6 volt alternator, working 6 volt generator comes with purchase. Also using a Saturn overdrive but have the original PTO that will also come with. Many spare parts will also come along with this Willys.
You are basically buying a new 1948 CJ-2A that runs and drives just like it should.
Have receipts for everything.
Down side…does need a new paint job and the reason I am selling is that the leg room is to short for me. If you are over 5 ft 10 in you should strongly look into a
CJ-3A as its driver seat is back 2 more inches.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4250.
(03/13/2020) Runs. Has some Cutlas Powerlock hubs.
“1946 Willy’s CJ2A. Mostly original. Runs and drives! New fuel pump and brake master cylinder. The old flat head 4 still fires right up. She’s pretty rough and has some rust but really not too bad for being 74 years old! I intended to do a full restoration but life has gotten in the way and I have to let her go.”
Lots of new parts, but still needs work.

Negotiate in person only, thank you for viewing.”
UPDATE: Still Available?
(12/04/2019) If it still runs, it’s not well loved.

“1948, Willis jeep, grey, good running ,new windshield, lots of fun jeep”
UPDATE: Sold. Was $2700.
Looks like a great price.
“1947 Willys Jeep With a Buick V6 It’s a lot of fun just need the space Freed up”
UPDATE III: **SOLD** Was $1552.
UPDATE II: The header has been corrected. It’s actually a GPW. I’ve also added some additional pics:
UPDATE: It appears this may be a USMC-modified based on the Holden design, rather than an actual Holden. This may explain why Frank isn’t seeing details he’s expecting to see (see comments)?
A person I trust has checked this out and confirms it’s a USMC Holden. But, it’s rough, too.
“42 MB prior marine ambulance. Open to offers. Have extra parts and pieces available. In Redding Ca. On a non op also have a rolling CJ 2a with no engine but have plenty of trans and transfer cases. Would like to make a deal on all of it I have.”
A big thanks to Barney Goodwin (of Barneys Jeep Parts) for sending me this early edition of the Kaiser Willys News. This is issue #3. A couple interesting things about this issue. Perhaps the biggest curiosity is that there isn’t much related to jeeps in this issue, confirming that even by early 1954 there was still a lot of integration still going on. Issue #2, seen in the post below, also didn’t have much information related to jeeps. Volume 4 of the newspaper, which appeared in May (and can be seen below the #2 issue), had a few more jeep specific references.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay. This is a March 1, 1954, issue of Kaiser Willys News (issue #2)
There is some jeep info in the newspaper, but mostly its about the cars.
This May 1954 issue of Kaiser Willys News is one I only have available in these smaller pics snagged off eBay back in 2013. There is a story about the Yakima ridge runners and the Jeep Rodeo, but it’s too small to read.
Not sure about the price, but a fun idea.

Hank’s got these two items for sale. Contact him at ehr21755 @ yahoo.com (remove the spaces around the @). If you send an email and don’t receive one back in a day or so, let me know. He had a problem seeing emails I sent, but we’ve got that straightened out.
“Cleaning house and like to sale these two items. Fiberglass body $300 with fenders. I do not want to ship but maybe we can work out a deal.”
The cab will come off the body or they can have that too. $250 for the cab.
Could be worth a look.

“New Price! 1957 Willys Jeep 4 cyl 3 speed runs and drives great. Great little jeep to have some fun with. Body is really nice for it’s age. Contact me for more info. If the listing up it still for sale. Make an offer. Some trades welcome.”
UPDATE: This has also been listed in nearby Gallup.
(03/17/2020) Missing a parking light and windshield wipers at the very least.

“Working good cj3b 4 cylinder hurricane engine, 3 speed transmission, also I have the soft top and doors and clean title”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
The engine is from Kaiser-Frazer, so isn’t original to the jeep. I believe the disassembled photos are the latest ones.
“”46″ Jeep CJ2A , 1st year available to for civilian purchase. All original parts to re- assemble. Was going to do a frame off restoration but am going a different way. Comes with a top, doors, and plow. Has the original supersonic 4 cylinder motor. Currently sitting in my garage out of the weather. Would be a good restoration or an opportunity to add an SMC motor to make an off road vehicle. Do not have a title so I would supply a bill of sale to acquire one.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $525.
Seller believes this was a CJ-5 hardtop at one point, but I don’t see any mods that would indicate that.
“I have a Willy’s jeep hardtop for sale. The top bolts to any flat fender jeep with a MB/GPW windshield frame. (Excluding CJ 3B) The top started off as a early aluminum CJ5 top. it has been highly modified to fit the early Jeeps.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(02/22/2020) Seller has a variety of parts, including fiberglass parts.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/126989508668701/
“Various Jeep Willys parts, frames, slide over fiberglass bodies, titles, motors. Sell all or pieces. Tired of looking at them. Make offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
Not sure what all work this needs to run and drive.
“1946 Willys. Project vehicle ready for you to finish. Has been sitting for 6 six years.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
Thanks to Tom for sharing this.
“I have a mid 1950’s jeep fc150 4×4 for sale. I have had this thing listed a few times now but did alittle bit more work too it.. the engine turns over great, it’s a 3speed. It does not run right now. It needs a new ignition wire & few other things. I’m not sure on mileage either ! The jeep has rust in the floors, & the common places. I bought this with the intention on restoring it for my business but I do not have the time at all & would love too see it go to a better home. No trades, cash only, no title”
Got some things done around the yard Saturday, so just the one post below for Sunday. Updates will resume Monday.
