“Hello, I have a somewhat large Willys parts collection that i would like to sell. Its a collection from my dad and i dating back to the 1980’s. He is 80 and no longer has interest in keeping most of it and honestly there’s so much stuff i don’t really know what all is there. Included are multiple engines, sheet metal, interior parts, transmissions, transfer cases, axles, frames, etc. for wagons, trucks, jeepsters, cj2 cj3, mb and maybe a few cabover parts, trash cans full of parts, containers full of part, etc. There might be a few NOS parts too but I have to look and see what i might keep as i’m likely gonna keep one or two of the Willys vehicles as my kids have been wanting a father kid classic car project. I would like someone who can come to my place in Hesperia and my dads in Riverside to see it all. Keep what you want and sell the rest to other Willys enthusiasts. I don’t have time to part it out or deal with those that are looking for a few parts. Tried that before and it was a big waste of time. Pics only show a part of whats there. “Classic Willys Jeep has a 2.8l V6, T90 3speed trans with newer transfer case and larger front and rear axcles. Has wide 36″ tires and alumin craragar rims. however tires are rotted and one is blown out. Also has the desirable fiberglass body. I purchased to fix up but due to property I live at being up for sale I have to let someone else do this project. Unsure of engine issues as it did not run when I purchased it. It does turn over. no water in oil or in radiator. Great project for father and son or for off roading or steeet wise.”

“Typical 31×15.50-15 terras. Stolen from Snohomish County, WA sometime in the last 2 months. Wheels are unique- widened Kelsey Hayes wheels as pictured. 3 have the correct centers, one has had the center crudely replaced with a Ford style center. Torched the opening larger for jeep fitment, crude welds maring the center to the rim.
Stolen from my cousin out of my grandma’s shop. Shop doesn’t get checked very often so we don’t know exactly when they disappeared, but he bought them less than 2 months ago. Should be easy enough to ID.”
Titled Geschlossener Jeep fur Sommer und Winter, these two brochures came from Switzerland. The majority of the images show configurations for the CJ-6, but a CJ-3A looking jeep is shown as is a CJ-5. You can see one brochure has “72” written on it, which *might* be a reference to 1972? Those seem like some nice configurations of well-built tops.
A March 30, 1947, article in the Metropolitan Pasadena Star-News introduced the Forest Service’s ten new CJ-2As to California readers. These vehicles were equipped with two-way radios to aid fire control.
The article notes that a Weasel was being tested, along with the development of a four-wheel-drive vehicle that would be better for forest fire fighting, but I could find no references on the internet to an offload vehicle designed by Ira Funk.
This one-page press release focuses on the CJ-2A’s engine.

“Running and driving and very original cj2a. Getting harder to find these! Some rough edges but a great base to build into a classic head-turner or fun 4×4. Starts and runs and goes through the gears fine. Brakes need bled, but it will stop- eventually. Pto winch works. Body mostly very straight. Original seat bases there with some decent newer passenger van seats on them now. Fairly comfortable. Need bolted in. $3500 obo.”

“1946 CJ2A Jeep. Runs, drives, stops. Motor is rebuilt, >1000miles ago. .030 overbore. Crank is NOS with new rod and main bearings. All motor and drivetrain is intact and works. Has been converted to 12v but I have the generator/regulator for 6v. Also included is tow bar (I never used). Body has some rough spots but is solid. I used for transportation to and from truck shows and hotel. I am moving and not going to take it with me. Please be serious if you make contact”

“1952 Willy’s M-38 for sale. It has a 3 speed with a high-low transfer case and a flathead 4 engine. I’ve had it for about 3 years and haven’t driven it much. I actually used it to plow snow a few times. It’s in rough shape, but wouldn’t take too much to make it nice. Even when not running for over a year, it fires up right away. The engine needs some tuning, but I think it’d run well with some TLC.”
