(04/27/2015) “This is a Frankenstein 1954 Jeep Willys CJ3B. It is the high hood flat fender Jeep. It has a Chevy 4.3 Vortec TBI engine and Turbo 400 automatic transmission. It has low and high 4wd on Dana 44s and sits on a 2.5 inch lift and 32×11.5×15 BF Goodrich All Terrain Tires with good tread. It has an Air Compressor rigged to the Air Conditioning compressor. WARN locking front hubs. It HAD an ARB Air Locking Hub system but I could never get it to work. The engine just stopped running on me and I am done trying to rig this back together. I think it is electrical because I can start it with direct fuel. The Jeep needs substantial body and floor board work. It is currently registered and insured.”

“Up for sale is a fairly rare 1966 Jeep J-200 “Gladiator” 4×4 truck with the optional Custom Cab trim package. This features the good-looking chrome front grill, aluminum front end trim, chrome front bumper, fancy stainless steel trim on the rear of the cab, Custom Cab emblems, and more.

Powered by the venerable 230 cubic inch Tornado inline overhead cam six-cylinder engine, she runs very well. I replaced the water pump (was squeaky and was ready for replacement), rebuilt the hydraulic clutch including going through the master cylinder, and replacing the slave cylinder), changed fluids, and properly set up the timing and carburetor. A nice-running truck with a lot of life left in her; showing 30,175 on the odometer, but likely rolled over once.. who can say? No exhaust smoke or bad engine noises at all. She’s got the three-speed manual “three on the tree” transmission, and optional power steering, which is a big plus. 4×4 transfer case gets her in and out of all wheel drive properly, and she comes with some spare parts including a set of Warn locking front hubs. Good brakes combined with all the above make her a sound driving truck.

(11/20/2014) Nice looking CJ-5. This is from the same collection as the CJ-6 that was available a few days ago.

“Up for auction is an unbelievably original 1965 CJ5 Tuxedo Park with 22,947 original miles. This Jeep has most of its original paint with paint code 226 and trim code of 227. The hood has been replaced due to the original hood being damaged many years ago. The replacement hood is a later style that does not have the typical early CJ water fording cover on the side and the footman loops are in the incorrect location.

This would be an easy fix however to make the Jeep correct again. The hood therefore does not have the original paint nor does the cowl because the paint was blended into the cowl to get a correct match. The Jeep has a 134 overhead four cylinder engine with a 3 speed column shift manual transmission, factory overdrive and 2 speed transfer case.

“This 1950 Jeep has a military style body that still has its first coat of paint. Never had any rust holes. Purchased this jeep in from an older Gentleman who used it to plow his very long gravel driveway. I have used it to plow my driveway, skid logs out of the woods, launch boats, cruise the neighborhood, and ride trails carved by ATVs that todays jeeps don’t fit on. Buy this jeep because you want a dependable, and fun work toy that is ridiculously easy and cheap to operate. This is not a fickle collectors parade jeep! I have used it weekly since day one of purchase. Think of it as a street legal ATV that holds 4 people. This Willys is narrow enough and light enough (<2000 lbs) to fit in a 7 ft wide enclosed trailer. It has a lifetime registration as a collector vehicle so does not need annual tabs. In 1993 a frame off restoration and rebuild was completed on it. Most of the frame could still be waxed! The Jeep is unmodified with these exceptions: 70’s tail lights, 12 volt battery conversion, Warn locking front hubs, seatbelts and back seat. To the best of my knowledge, everything else is original. The tires are Denman Military. Flathead go devil 4cyl. Manual transmission, Manual transfer case shift, Manual front axil shift. Very steep original gears. Cruising speed 45 mph. Since I’ve owned it, the entire brake system has been renewed with new lines, master cylinder and all wheel cylinders and brake pads. Original Carburetor rebuilt this spring. NEW-brakes, top, military tires ( 6X16), manual locking front hubs
It was restored by previous owner- paint,wiring,etc
All gauges work except speedo. Runs very well
Front tow bar included (not shown)
Seats are old style canvas
