“If I wanted another CJ2 I’d buy it. Located in La Grande Oregon. Looks like no rust. 6 volt . front winch. Nice top. Original 4 banger. Just thought I’d share it. Sorry that I only got the one shot as I was blocking the parking lot.”
Here’s an unusual project. This *might* have been a great setup for the race jeep and to tow a RV Trailer.

“1955 jeep forward control cab on a heavy duty 4×4 chassis. Has a mid engine 454. This is a home made 4×4 that has been sitting a long time. Not sure what the chassis came from. Would make a good off road machine.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $450.
This appears in good shape. Kelly 23 Series top info.
“What you are looking at is an original Willys Jeep hard top. The top is in very good shape and complete minus the back glass. The windows roll up and down and the latches work great. I will have it off the Jeep today or tomorrow. This will fit the CJ2A Willys or the CJ3A, M38, MB or Ford GPW if you use a CJ2A windshield.”
This may include what looks to be a Kelly hardtop.

“1947 Willys CJ2a and parts Willys. Rough but probably could make one runner out of the pair. Have a tile for the 1947.”
UPDATE: This was first posted March 20, 2018.
This post began as a reference to a Farm Collector article about Jeep Loaders by Jim Gay. It turns out that there were several loaders that weren’t included. Below you’ll find the most complete list I’ve been able to assemble.

“1951 Willys M38. Runs, drives and brakes good. Purchased from Korean War vet. Very original appearance, original 24 volt. Pioneer kit, military tires. This was an older restoration, but since I’ve had it – new carb, new water pump, rebuilt fuel pump, head gasket, valve adjustment, plugs, points, wires, batteries, transfer case output and diff input seals, fuel sender unit, Speedo cable. Appears to be original metal body. Odometer show 58,200+ miles but don’t know if actual. Turns heads everywhere. Clean FL title. Possible trade for WWII dodge WC”
Appears in good shape. John shared this one.

“GR Auto Gallery is pleased to bring to market this gorgeous and freshly restored 1959 Willys DJ3a for your consideration. This example is powered by its original L134 “Go Devil” engine paired with a 3 speed on the three manual transmission. This Surrey tribute is not documented as a Surrey but before its restoration at had some parts leading towards evidence of it being one including chrome rear bumper, Willys hubcaps, round dry air filter, front frame cover and steps.
During the restoration the top was new, carburetor was rebuilt, complete brake system was addressed and the drums were turned, the frame was redone and finished with POR15, the gas tank was also cleaned and sealed POR15 tank sealer, new exhaust, new shocks, new tires.”
This one has been for sale for a while.

“For Sale RARE 1 of 9 1962 Willys wagon traveller 2wd built for the Forestry Service. The price is $7500 or very close offer. The wagon has a good KS title in my name. I don’t have to sell it but I’m moving and probably won’t have time to get to it soon. The original engine, transmission, and shifter are missing and were when I bought it. If I build it I will change the suspension and drivetrain which really shouldn’t happen. The shifter in the pictures is just sitting on the floor and no modifications have been made. This wagon started out as a panel that was converted at the factory into the people hauling traveller that it is today. That is the reason for the rounded wheel wells. The paint is original and it is about as solid as it gets. I would say that the miles and interior are original. The spare tire mounts behind the drivers seat and the rear seats flip up and latch to haul other items. I bought from an estate years ago and I believe that the gentlemen likely bought it for the Forestry signs he removed from both front doors. The license plate on the back is Colorado 1970 and it was in place when I bought it. Let me know if your serious and have questions.”
It’s missing the siren/horn on front and isn’t in perfect shape, but the price seems good. Thanks to Andy for sharing.

“Jeep FJ-6 1966 right hand drive. Old post office fleet van. Engine is junk but comes with another one that’s good. Frame is solid, body is galvanized so almost no rust, does have some dents. I don’t really want to sell it as it’s a personal project of mine but I wont be getting to it for a long time so I’ll just leave it posted if someone wants it bad enough. My plans are to bag it and slam it, but it uses a CJ5 chassis so you could easily make it a fun 4×4 rig.”

Thursday and Friday I finally painted the interior. The color is rattle-can Red Apple Gloss. It nearly matches the exterior color, but is slightly brighter. As noted before, it’s literally just some lipstick to clean up what was there and to help preserve the metal a little longer before I can get the cab removed for a proper media blast, repairs, and paint.
After paint:
