“’57 Willys FC-150, Flatbed w/ electric hydraulic dump bed. The 7′ flatbed makes it look like an FC-170 from a distance. Engine out of vehicle. Expect to rebuild the low miles engine, but may run. Nice Cab with excellent cab corners. The only rust is along the lower body seam below the headlights. Excellent tread. Tinted glass all around replaced in the past, rear window has a wondering crack. I have a running ’66 Mustang 6-200 with a Jeep transmission adapter I was going to install that you can have instead of the Jeep F4-134 engine. — $4,700. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
Steve Elkins has this one for sale. He’s going down to the FC Roundup in Phoenix, so he could bring it if necessary. he needs to know by Monday.
“I also have a ’58 FC-170 for sale, the white one in the photo. It runs, but I haven’t driven it in 4 years, — $3,500.”
I found this cool brochure on eBay for almost nothing. It’s printed on very thin paper. It’s 8.5 x 11, but part of the left side folds over, bringing it’s width down to about 6″. I believe it is was created in 1946 or 1947. The photo below as an early grille and a column shift. One illustration has tool indents.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
(09/13/2016) Looks solid.
“1946 Willys CJ2A. Lovingly improved to stock. New fuel system (tank, pump, steel lines), new suspension system, new steering gear, new exhaust, new paint (period correct Harvest Tan), new period correct seats and upholstery. It has working turn signals and converted to 12 volt. Starts and runs well. It’s ready for those Fall runs to the ice cream shop or the baseball field. There is no better way to run around town. Clear title in hand.”
