Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. $1950 OBO. Right hand steer. Fun to drive! Clean Title. 232 straight six, runs good, rebuilt carb, good tires, new ignition switch w/cutoff. Transmission slips a little. Odometer reads 85,XXX but doesn’t work. Please make offer! No trades, cash only, local pick up. Make offer!’

(11/23/2016) “1950 Willys Jeepster. Must have been a left over 1949 titled as a 1950. 1950 title but has dash and front end like a 1949. This car came from the original owner. This was a body off work. All work was done on a rotesory. All paint was stripped to bare metal. Pictures are available that document the whole process. All rust was removed and replaced with metal. The windshield has been chopped three inches. The floor pan was removed and replaced with an Ford Escort floor pan. The escort bucket seats were recovered and the console and floor shifter are from the Escort. It has a rebuilt Ford 200 cu inch 6 cylinder with a c5 transmission and a ford 8 inch rear end. Aluminum radiator with electric fan. New gas tank and lines. New brake lines. New bumpers. All new wiring with Painless fuse panel.. This is a fun car to drive and is a real attention getter. We have more comments with this car than any we have ever owned. Great driver, runs great.”

(04/03/2013) Desert Dogs, a winch, an overdrive and high gearing. Looks like a good Northwest rig. It also has the bobcat fiberglass hood. The steps appear modified.

“1970 dj5 mail jeep project. Model A drop axle, hair pins, front disc brakes, vaga box, cross steer, 10 bolt rear-end with triangulated 4 link, break master cylender and petal located and setup, 6″ channel and all new floor pans fabricated, smoothed fire wall set up for small block chevy (motor in pictures is just a mock up motor). Lots of hrs in fabrication spent. Hate to sell but need room for new project. Have vin plate and Idaho title from previous owner. The last picture is the look i was heading for. Need out of shop price is obo.”
