“For sale is a ’46 Willys 2A. It was pulled out of a barn last fall where it had been sitting for a number of years. It ran when parked. Body is rough – there isn’t much left of the driver’s side floor. Fenders and hood are solid, so is the frame. Body mounts are gone in a couple places. No windshield. Was converted to 12 volts when it was running. Engine looks to be all there minus a few hoses. I believe the radiator has a leak. Comes with driver’s side seat frame and passenger seat from a different model jeep. Tires are no good but three of them hold air. Gas tank has some holes in it which previous owner had patched and coated, but I am working on fixing.
I have been using a chemical stripper to remove the layers of old paint, which is why there is discoloration in the pictures. A lot of the heavy rust has been wire brushed and treated with Ospho to keep it in check for now, which is why some spots are white.
