Probably not much value here, but I’m sure it was fun in it’s day.

“For Sale: Willy’s Jeep, Built for mud run, does not run, 289 slant plug heads, nitrous bottle, Call Jordan at (660) 238 1173”
For $1500 it runs and drives. Might be a reasonable deal.
“For Sale – 1946 Willy’s CJ-2A Jeep. I bought this Jeep years ago with the intention of doing a slight resto-mod on it. I came to realize over the past year that don’t have the money or time to do this correctly…. I’ve recently put on a Rancho 3 inch suspension lift, with a spring over. At the same time, I put on Spiderco ¾ wheel spacers on all four wheels Also recently replaced were the Solex carburetor and an restored the fuel pump back to the original style glass bowl type. The transmission on the jeep was re-built about 3 years ago (approx 3000 miles since rebuild) Runs and drives, there is an issue with the passenger side rear wheel cylinder leaking a little bit, but the replacement is only like $15 from www.Jeepdoc.com …. Asking $1500 for the Jeep, serious inquiries only please.”
“1942 FORD GPW. Too much to list: Fully restored from the ground up. Ford Flathead engine completely rebuilt and machined with only 132 miles on it . 12 volt electrical system. All new canvas (Beachwood Canvas). The Axles have been rebuilt, the tranny and transfer case have been re-sealed. Complete Steering system has all been rebuilt. New reproduction Ford radiator. New Paint, Tires ,braking system, hoses, wires, ect. You name it, its been replaced with new parts and ready to go. Alot of detail and time went into finding new “F”(Ford) marked parts all the way to the bolt heads and tires for this restoration”
I love this jeep. It comes with a blender — and the blender is attached to the jeep!
“1942 (FORD) has a 231 Buick V6 (6K on completely rebuilt engine), SM420 4-speed xmission, beefed up T18 xfer case, Dana 44 rear, Dana 30 front, both with Powr-loks and 5.38:1 gear ratios, new one piece Warn hubs, new MP3/IPOD Stereo, 4-wheel disc brakes, new brake master cylinder, New fuel pump, Summers Bros. This would make a great restoration project.
“This has been my elderly fathers Jeep for many years. There is no rust, as any sign of rust was replaced with new metal. It has a 1960’s Buick V6 conversion. The motor has few miles since a complete overhaul. The jeep runs and drives great. It also has new tires with very few miles as well. The jeep was only driven around a small town on nice days, and always stored in winter months since his ownership. The price is $3,500 and is pretty firm. We are looking for a serious buyer, and not tire kickers who are looking to share old Jeep stories. Feel free to contact me at 608-575-4166 if you have serious interest…”
Here’s an FC-170 with what I assume is a custom bed, though the tilt part is probably original. Not a bad price if the rust situation isn’t too bad (can’t quite tell from the pics).
“I am unsure of the year exactly of the Jeep Willys. We think it is around the 60’s. The truck is an FC 170 3 spd transmission 6 cylinder Super hurricane. The motor has less than 5,000 miles and runs well. The truck has 105,600 original miles. It is four wheel drive, it has a PTO, hydraulic Winch, and a Dump bed. The truck runs good but has been off of the road for 5 years due to the owners death, and there for not inspected. If interested please contact me and I will get the best information I have for you. ”
Brian forwarded this to me. I love this thing. I bet the body was toast, so the builder decided to make due with the frame and turn it into a true utility vehicle. The seller deleted it from Craigslist, so I dont’ know whether it sold or not. But, I thought it was worth showing everyone. This might have been a Willys truck? (I’ve added an example pic at the bottom).
“1959 jeep willy s Bucket loader, Grader, Dump body. Home made but Runs great, new clutch, 36″ tires ford flat head motor Very Strong, Works great for grading roads and driveways Great for farm work to.. Here’s the comparison loader below that a reader sent me last June
The pictures show the jeep is all together, but from the seller’s comments I think it is still apart?
“I have a 52 Willys Jeep Started restoration but never finished. It has a Ford V 6, Holly two Barrel, Hooker Headers, MSD ignition, new bucket seats, after market dash, Just to much to list. Topper is in perfect condition. Please Contact me at (303)978-1083 Will not respond to E Mails so don’t try. Mark”
The front looks pretty good. No pics of the sides or rear.
“I have a 1953 Willys with a 327 Chevy V-8, 5/38 gears, three speed with overdrive manual trans. ALL ORIGINAL METAL. This was my dad’s for 40 years, now I must sell immediately! Rough shape, needs restored, but when she runs, she’ll get you where you need to go, and then some.”
With a recently rebuilt V-6, a straight, non-rust looking body and a full rollcage, the price on this looks really good.
“1958 Willys Jeep, Chrysler 231 oddfire rebuilt. $2000 OBO (not looking to trade for anything). Please Call (559) 638-2798, do not email”
Lots of good upgrades to this good looking MB.
“289 Engine; Four Speed; Dana 44 Rear; Dana 32 Front; Waren Overdrive; Custom Headers; new battery and cables; new plugs and wires; new distributor cap; no smog required! $3500 “
This CJ-3B has changed colors. It is now green? It’s been painted in the last 6 days! Old color on the right. New color on the left. The seats have been recovered too? Or, this is just a different jeep being sold by the same seller at the same price? Interesting ….
“53 willys CJ3B jeep runs good rough body solid drive train ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500. It’s been for sale since June. There are more pictures now and it looks pretty good.
“1948 Willys Jeep 4 x 4, CJ 2A Body, Exterior is white in color, Interior is black, original 4 cylinder engine, Mileage 61409, Gas gauge does not work, Jeep runs good and you can test drive it and drive it home if you purchase this. Jeep has off road tires and it also has another full set of what seems to be original Ford rims with tires, tires are not original but all hold air. Jeep comes with vehicle cover that was custom made to fit. Does not have a hard or soft top, Equiped with roll bar. Passenger side windshield is cracked.”
This jeep has its engine out and apart.
“1947 Willys Jeep CJ 2a, Army Green, Orig 4 cyl flat head. Very fun car. Ran good, but burned oil, so removed engine, hot tanked parts, ready to rebuild. Many new parts: $2850”
John bought himself a trailer a few months ago and decided he wanted to turn it into a multipurpose trailer. The result is a tent that he erect on his trailer in about 5 minutes, something he can use for camping or for storing the jeep. Here’s what he writes:
“I’ve had this thing in my head for over a year. After we got the trailer in Feb, it all came into view. I just had to get my upholstery guy to see the same thing. There was more work to get him to see it than actual work to make it! There is a reflective panel in the top that really cools this thing down. I’m working on a hot water system for a shower & I’ll have a generator also. ”
Here’s some pics:
This seems like a pretty good price for this combo.
“1942 Willys Military Jeep and 1946 Bantam Military Jeep Trailer. Jeep has roll bar/bimini top/extra clutch plate/tow bar/newly recovered seats/spare tire/3 Jeep cans. Converted to 12 volt electrical system. All lights, instruments and heater work. Trailer has tailgate, new paint and lights. $4800 for both.”
Needs new rear axle. Otherwise, doesnt’ sound like a bad price. I think this is a CJ-3A (NOT A CJ-1.. lol)
“it has a fully rebuilt v-6 in it with brand new cooper all-terrain tires levaling kit, good paint job,new bucket seats, roll bar,all new wireing, runs perfect, the bad is that it needs a new rear axle but othee than that it is in very good condition for it’s age, thanks danny 541-855-1473”
This might not be a bad price. I think it depends on exactly what the herculiner on the inside is covering.
“willys has all stock running gear including flat head 4 cylinder runs great, has newer best top line x sprayed inside the tub,it runs and drives cory 971-506-0484, no email please”
This is a nice looking CJ-3A. I swear I’ve seen it before, but a search through all my 154 1951 CJ-3A pictures didn’t yield anything.
” 1951 JEEP WILLYS – Chevy 350 eng, nice wheels & 32″ tires, good condition, $5,500 obo or trade for small pickup. Phone 805-451-8574″

This jeep looks like it rides a little high. Either it’s got re-arched springs or tall shackles.
“This rig replaces the standard engine with a 1972 Ford Pinto 2.0L engine for extra kick! Installed are a FRESH TRANSMISSION and a FRESH TRANSFER CASE!!! Aftermarket shocks are installed both front and rear, and combined with the installed front hub locks and front hitch, makes this a great basic off-roading package! Comes with an aftermarket rollbar, set of 5 original military tires, an original military gas can, and set of 4 Super Swamper 32″ off-road tires”
There’s a good deal of junk here, but the opening bid is only $195, so maybe there’s some value. I can see there’s the column shift parts at the very least.
“You are bidding on a 1946 JEEP WILLYS. 4 cylinder, 4 wheel drive low. Column shift, transmission & under gear is all there. Full radiator assembily w/shrowd. Floating hubs for front, starter. Overall condition is restorable. Willys OJ2A 32336. Jeep does not have title….”
This appears in pretty good stock shape. There’s a few small dings, but nothing obvious appears wrong.
“1951 Willys CJ3A original body rust free California vehicle. 95k miles some restoration has been done runs and drives well has never seen a New England winter always garaged $5000.00, exceptional condition Call Jim at 603-765-6905”
A reader sent this our direction. One interesting feature is the rectangular square on the driver’s side. That’s not something standard is it? It includes an Overdrive.
“been stored original cond one repaint originally red professional overhauled original engine with original owners manual towbar 1943 army trailer avail also”
“1950 Willys Jeep, have doors and windshield, all parts are there, includes a ramsey pto winch.”
