This might be a good deal. A new paint job would do this wonders.
“Hard to find Willys CJ3B High Hood! Original motor. Runs okay, needs some work. Perfect project Jeep or ranch rig.”

A running, driveable, not too bad looking CJ-5 for only $800. It looks like a deal to me.
“looks and runs very good needs some minor tlc but for the year its pretty nice and all the canvas doors and top are new. this is a fun little jeep its the cj5. Call robert

“Up for auction is a 1946 Jeep Willys CJ 2A. The vehicle is mostly original except for the engine, which is a fuel injected Chevy V6 out of an S10 pickup. The engine probably has less than 50,000 miles on it, but I dont know for sure. The frame is straight and the body is in pretty rough shape in my opinion, although not bad for its for its age, has some rust spots, nothing all the way through, and has also had some paint and body work as well, which I did myself, so its not perfect….”
UPDATE: this jeep sold and is on it’s way to California.
Here’s an unusual find. A garage kept, completely original Tuxedo Park CJ-5 with only 67,500 original miles. It’s been garaged in Montana since new, garaged in Washington the last four years and serviced every year.
This seller makes a valiant attempt to disclose all that is wrong with this jeep. How about those ‘hood blocks’?
“Up today is a 1942 Willys MB Jeep. This was a BUBBA special,You know BUBBA dont you? He puts the wrong tub on the Jeep,Then to add insult to injury he puts a big roll bar and the standard do not fit junk bucket seats and there you go. Well the roll bar and the seats were the first to go.Here is what you have. The parts that are mb are as follows.Frame with MB tag and s/n,Front fenders, grill hood front axle. What is cj are the tub and engine and the rear end. I do not know about the trans if it is mb of cj.Eng runs pretty good and has good oil pressure,It does smoke a little. The 4 wheel drive seems to work ok in the high and low range ….”
The seller claims this is in restorable condition, but it looks like there’s quite a bit of edge rust.
“1958 Willys Jeep CJ3B. Needs to be restored. All original condition except 12 volt alternator, tires and wheels, roll bar and seats. $1000 or best offer.”
Here’s a great price on an early, running CJ-3B.
“1953 willys jeep cj3b Runs good 4×4, trans,p.t.o winch all works good. Body needs attention but would be perfect for play or work asking 2,000 OBO”
I love the old hubs on this classic CJ-3A (pic below). I don’t think I’ve seen these Cutter hubs before. I did a search on them, but couldn’t find anything.
“Up for auction is an amazingly original 1950 CJ3A. This vehicle was used by the mosquito abatement district in Chico, California since the 50’s and has been very well maintained. Other than an inop vacuum wiper motor, worn clutch and non-original temp gauge everything is original and works! (Even the hand brake!) Unless the vehicle was in use it was stored in a closed maintenance garage contributing to the great condition of the body tub and frame. The only rust on the vehicle is located in the passenger side floor/hat channel, an area adjacent to the driver’s side top bow pocket and and area on the driver’s side just forward of the rear wheel well opening, (see pictures). That’s it! …. There is so much more! New battery and starter. Very unusual Cutter front hubs. You don’t run across one like this very often! Feel free to e-mail me with any questions you might have.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was on eBay
“I went to great lengths to get this Jeep back to what it would have looked like after a few years in it’s original job. The Jeep was painted it’s true color – Normandy Blue and the wheels are Sunset Red – more of an orange – which is their original color. This Jeep towed planes and helicopters, plowed snow, and was a mobile airplane mechanics toolbox at the Akron – Canton airport. In recognition of that, I left the big channel front bumper and the custom “towing tab” on the bumper. I also instructed the body man to leave the dents in the bed – I wanted some of the patina ( I now wish I’d just had him fix the dents, I think)….”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This is a nicely restored truck.
“I am selling this beautiful 1963 Willys Jeep FC-170 for a friend. This truck was purchased from its original owner and restored by its original owner as well. It has a 6 cyl motor with a 3 spd manual trans. The seats were recently redone. All that is left to be completed in the interior is a new headliner and visors. There is a little rust which is staring to show in the interior right under the front bottom corner of the windshield which can be seen in the pic below. This vehicle is located in Medford, NJ.
Those old terra-like tires appear in pretty good shape. I had a set a couple decades ago before switching to desert dogs. This has a few dents and dings, but looks solid. I’m guessing it’s stored inside.
“1940’s Willys Jeep. Runs great. Needs some break work. Has a PTO. Has a hard top and doors.”
UPDATE: Last listed in 2009. The bumper appears Surreyish.
(07/13/2009) This has been family owned for it’s entire life.

Here’s a great price on a fine looking CJ-2A.
“1947 WORLD WAR II WILLYS JEEP (RUNS) COMPLETE WITH AN ALUMINUM TOP AND DOORS”
This might not be a bad price.

Maybe it has an overdrive? I don’t see a great deal of value otherwise.

This is a great price. I assume the windshield is from a hard top.

The price isn’t bad, but the body sounds like it is bad.
“Serial Number in the 17,000’s so it’s EARLY. Has the column shift, has the tool indents and the pockets on the side. Motor sputtered a little bit, I pulled the carb and starter off for another jeep. Floors are gone, and the passenger quarter is rough. Rest is decent. Tranny has PTO. 1200 obo, or trade for pre 1965 cars and parts. Looking mainly for pre 1955 ford parts.”
It’s a bit rough, but not too bad.
“Authentic 1952 M38 Military Jeep. Has blackout light system, four cylinder flat head (rebuilt), may original parts. Probable Korean war veteran. Jeep has complete drivetrain, minus one yoke for driveshaft (replacement cost $38 at Kaiser Willys). Good rims, frame has surface rust but all is mecahanically sound. Jeep body is somewhat rough but rebuildable. Have grill and front lights as well as dash board with Speedo (not shown in pics). Will need brakes and some miscellaneous parts to run and drive. Was going to restore, but do not have the time. These Jeeps are quickly becoming extinct. This is not a CJ3, it is an authentic M38. Call for more details.”
