Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This March 1966 4-page Warn brochure is form number DC-366-25, which I take to mean it was produced in March of 1966.

“1946 Willys Jeep for Sale
This Jeep is not running. I took it in trade and was told it was running when parked many years ago. I have had a battery in it and the engine does turn over. I was told it is a 1946 so I can only assume that is correct. The body looks to have been replaced with a fiberglass body at some point. From the cowl back it is fiberglass. The front fenders and inner fenders are steel. It looks to have the original running gear, although the shifter seems to be stuck in neutral. (There is no Title) The sale will be Bill of Sale only
