I tried to win this unusual Ringling Brothers circus jeep (here are a couple real-life examples of a Ringling circus jeep and Charlton Heston in one here), but I was out bid (it went for $31.99 and I bid $31). This has some nice details on it as you can see in the pics.

1949? CJ-2A Summerville, SC $20,000
Looks like a nice jeep.
https://charleston.craigslist.org/cto/d/summerville-1949-willys-jeep-cj2/7441472386.html
This a totally restored Jeep the original owner invested over $30,000 everything is rebuilt are replaced. You have to see it to believe it. All original drive train with a add on overdrive, that adds 10% to top end. That’s the extra stick you see in the floor with the 4 wheel drive. It has a new body, that wasn’t prepped right and the paint is peeling in some places. I have all the receipts pictures of a the rebuild. New springs tires brake steering box and all steering linkage new steering wheel seats gas tank total drive train rebuilt new wring 12 volt new radiator. New top and doors, electronic ing.
I hate to sell it but I’m getting to old to get in and out of it. I learned to drive on a 1948 on the farm Dad traded the 48 for a 1952 which he kept until 1967. Needless to say this is memory lane for me, when I saw it I had to have it. I hope whoever gets it has the same thrill.
I have recently install the blocks on hood for the wind shield when it is layed down.”

1952 M-38 Christmas, FL $15,000
Looks nice, but doesn’t run at the moment. Given the 3Bs and DJ-3As were produced into the 1960s, the M-38 wasn’t quite the last of the flat fenders.
https://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/d/christmas-1952-willys-jeep/7448242763.html
“1952 M38 Willys Jeep – last of the flat fender military jeeps, period motor not currently running. Everything is intact nothing missing Jeep is still 24V original, zero rust. Clean Florida title”
Fiberglass Tub and Parts Stoughton, MA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
The tub looks in very good shape. I would guess the seller is correct, that this is an older lightweight California tub similar to one I had from the 1970s. ‘$1200 gets you everything. $1000 just gets you the tub.
“We have available a fiberglass replacement tub for a flat fender Willys Jeep.
I believe this is for a CJ2A / CJ3A setup…but, maybe it also fits military MB M38 Ford GPW? Even though they had the high hood and slightly taller cowl I think it could potentially fit CJ3B , too?? The last photo shows the height of the cowl.
Doing some searching online I see ACME & Brian Chuchua’s may have made them at one point…but otherwise I don’t know the manufacturer.
This was from a project that started, but never fully mounted. Some holes were started on the firewall, and the fenders look like they started to get cut on the inside, but otherwise it’s still relatively “new”. Has some extra metal brackets / supports for around the firewall. It’s relatively light, but still feels solid.
Also available/included was a Bestop soft top (just the skins & doors no frame work) and 2 black front seats.
$1200 for everything or
$1000 for the body tub with fenders (I shouldn’t have to say this but CASH ONLY no electronic payments or checks!!)”
1956 DJ-3A Body w/ 4WD Eveleth, MI $1500
This looks to be a Convertible DJ-3A body on a 4WD chassis or a DJ-3A chassis converted to 4WD. The serial number is 56337-10467, though the last digit is very hard to read, making the body from 1946.
https://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/pts/d/eveleth-1949-jeep-cj-3a-parts-or-will/7434190001.html
“1st thing look up the zip code so you know where the item is located. If your not willing to come and get it or have someone haul it then please do not bother to proceed any farther. I can haul it but 1/2 down before moving and 1/2 down of haul fee.
From best i can find this is around a 1949 CJ-3, the motor, a overhead valve cylinder engine, we put in years ago but then just forgot about working on it. The tub is loose, the fender is off, one is missing. What you see in the pics is what you get, it is a project without a title. The jeep has the vin tag on the tub but is hard to read”
1960 DJ-3A Surrey Dacula, GA $20,000
UPDATE: This Surrey was posted to eBay last September (2021). There’s a lot to like here, but the floors have been patched.
https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/d/dacula-1960-willys-dj3a-surrey/7442633031.html
Offered for sale, 1960 Willys DJ3A Surrey 2WD- Serial #18201. This 61 year old collector’s item jeep has been sitting in a warehouse protected from the elements for the past 35 years. This jeep is virtually unmolested from its humble beginnings. Odometer shows 26,000 original miles. Somewhere along its life the front floor pans were reinforced due to hat channel rust-out and some bondo on driver side panel. . Jeep was originally two tone Tropical Rose and Coral Mist, seems to have been over sprayed in coral mist pink and the striped top was replaced at some point with what is currently on it.
See some older pics (from 09/2021) and more info below:
1951 CJ-3A Grantville, GA $500
Tub is off the jeep.
https://atlanta.craigslist.org/wat/for/d/franklin-1951-willys-cj3a-jeep-parts/7441561090.html
“I have some old willys Jeep parts for sale. I have a tub, hood, fenders, grille, and windshield from a ‘52 Cj3a. The tub is in pretty rough condition on one side. The fenders aren’t rusty but have a couple grinder cuts in them. The grille is ok. The hood is ok. The windshield frame is pretty good. It would be good for a woods buggy or you can use the windshield frame, hood and grille for your project.
I also have a transmission, transfer case and a set of axles, Dana 25 and Dana 41 from a ‘48 cj2a. The transmission and transfer case will need rebuilding. The axles have a rare set of locking hubs on them, there were a few different types of locking hubs for these jeeps. Also comes with an old ford inline 6 engine. Needs rebuilding
$500 for all of it. Must take it all. I can help you load it onto your trailer.
The pictures are older pictures. The tub is off of the frame now.”

1978 EBRO Bravo L Lincolnton, NC $16,500
Rennie spotted this rare jeep. Based on a CJ-3B-Page brochure, this is most likely an EBRO Bravo Model “L”. It seems the jeep below has had some modifications.
