John B. is a fan of Rod Taylor, an actor who starred in the short-lived 1971 TV series “Bearcats”, which John watched as a teen. I was six in 1971 and don’t remember ever watching it. Here’s an introduction to it:
The reason this top surfaced is because John sent me a photo showing Rod Taylor with a CJ-5. The question is, does it have a Tux package? It appears to have chrome hood latches and a chrome bumper, but the bumper is straight and not curved like a Tux Park package. Did the 1961-63 Tux Packages ever used a straight bumper like that?

“1946 Jeep Willys, CJ2A, 4×4, lifted with 34inch Super Swamper tires, Ford 302 V8, dual exhaust with glass packs, drives runs and sounds great! 12 volt conversion, new brake lines with dual reservoir master cylinder, new spark plugs and wires, new radiator, hoses, belts, etc. Clean Colorado title”

“1951 Willys M38 project my son and I started a few years ago. He has since moved away and is busy building his career, so it is time for the M38 to go. It had a Buick V-6 oddfire which was no good, so we built up a GM slightly later model V-6, which is currently in the longblock stage. Have most of the parts and sheetmetal, just needs someone to finish. Have title.”
