Ben spotted this running Jeepster that needs some more work. Note the “hinge” gas pedal. The seller has two other Jeepsters he’ll be posting for sale at some point.
https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/rescue-jeepster-1949/7460494264.html
“Jeepster with running 4 cylinder 134cu.in flathead original engine and three speed with overdrive transmission. This is not a restoration. It runs (sounds good), works in all gears, (I do not know about the overdrive) has a new paint job. There is a new-inbox top and the bumpers have been re-chromed. The upholstery need to be redone with the proper padding. The rust is present but light for this type of auto. This is a great Jeepster to restore or make a car for cruising the foothill or your neighborhood. Title is in my name as non-op.
Look at the pictures and get in touch with me with your questions.
I have two other Jeepsters that will post soon.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000.

Rear axle is stock Dana 70 with powerlock.
Front 44 has been gone through.

“Very complete, original wheels, PTO winch, ran prior to being parked in a barn 20 years ago. Not currently running. Includes piles of extra parts”
It’s not currently road worthy, but it does have some interesting mods. The mod at the very rear appears to be a gas tank. I suspect the cargo area may be an animal cage of some type.

“Early model half cab Jeep (milage & yr unknown) 4×4 lock in/ lock out hubs, 4 cyl engine, runs good, new fuse box, fuses. Ignition switch. Horn, lights and windshield wipers work. 3 speed manual transmission, pto winch, a frame tow bar, nice fuel tank on rear, covered bed, metal doors, some repairable rust spots, tires are showing dry rot. Nice deer camp or farm Jeep. Wouldn’t take much to make it road ready. Bill of Sale. $4650.00”
This needs some work. It may be a VEC.

“This is my 1946 cj-2a project, it’s got 7k original miles, the body on it is pretty straight and the drive train is still good, and the engine is pretty seized considering it was sitting for a good while before we got it, comes with towbar and a wench so it’s ready to go Will trade for motorbikes, running cars/trucks, and freedom seeds Please message me if u need more pics or more info”
Seems like there’s some value here. It does look to be a CJ-3A, based on the bodies’ dash, the radiator setup, and the lack of front frame horns.
https://portland.craigslist.org/grg/pts/d/mosier-cj2a-or-cj3a/7455519373.html
“This is either a CJ2A or a CJ3A or may be a mix. It is a project that I have stalled on…
Frame and engine are in good shape, the engine turns over, is not seized. Has new brake lines and includes a new carburetor. All Jeep parts in the photos go with it; muffler, exhaust pipe, radiator, all body parts, drive shafts, steering assembly, etc. As with most of these Jeeps, the body (tub) is fair to poor.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5000.
I post this because it wins the award for the most creative use of a Uhaul item (as a seat cover), along with the unusual rear cargo mod.

“Everything is factory on this runs and drives factory PTO with blade .needs new leaf springs in the front, shocks have all been replaced. Price is firm please no messages after 10 pm won’t answer until morning thank you. Oh it is not mine I’m helping a neighbor.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1500.
This modified CJ-5 has an extended rear. The seller is unsure of the year, but it seems most likely a mid 1960s CJ-5 given the lack of a tailgate stamp and no faux battery box lid.

(01/10/2022) Listed as a 1946 CJ-2A, this seems to be a DJ-3A chassis with an unknown body. Then engine manifold appears to be DJ as well. The serial number plate has the DJ-3A prefix, but the second set of numbers aren’t readily viewable as if the plate had been changed.

“1946 Willy’s Jeep Flathead 4 motor New brakes Parking brake works New tires and wheels New bikini top Jeep runs and drives great, is street legal with current antique license plate.”
This is closer to how the plate ought to look:
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $4500.
(03/02/2022) Nate’s uncle has this FJ-6A for sale.
“This van spent its early life in Honduras as a diving instructor van, then made it’s way to WA where it has been since the mid ‘70’s. Actual mileage is unknown. It does not have an engine but is currently set up for a 327 Chevy v8 and a Chevy automatic transmission. It comes with what is believed to be the original manual 3-speed transmission. It also comes with a 4×4 Jeep transmission though it doesn’t have the 4×4 axles. As seen in the photos, some of the glass is broken. The body is in decent shape and it in good structural condition. The front grill also comes with it.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(10/23/2022) Seller also willing to bundle for sale with a trailer for the right amount.

Bill shared this article that describes this custom build as a 1948 M38. However, it’s appears to be a modified CJ-2A. It’s an interesting build, but calling it one of the “greatest flat fenders ever built” is a stretch (in my opinion).
https://www.motortrend.com/features/willys-m38-flatfender-rock-spider-soni-honegger/
“Fans of the War Wagon, the Scorpion MK1, and this apocalypse-ready toy hauler might already be familiar with this Willys M38 (the military version of the civilian Jeep CJ-3A) built by Soni Honegger. It’s been called the “Slickrock Spider” for its remarkable ability to articulate its way over and through some of the hairiest obstacles known to four-wheel drive vehicles, especially with Soni at the helm. Let’s take a look at what makes this machine one of the greatest Flatfenders ever built.”
Has. variety of updates. Looks in good shape.

“My Dad has a 1952 Willy’s keep he needs to sell. This is the M38A1 this is the 1st year of the CJ5 / Military Edition. He has everything there. The motor is not in the vehicle. It was pulled to rebuild but he wound up buying another complete used engine. He has just gotten older and no time to fix it back up. It includes the original mechanical winch as well. He may be open to trades.”
The chassis is not included.
