1959 Wagon Frisco, CO **SOLD**
UPDATE: was on eBay. **SOLD**
(08/25/2010) Here’s a non-restored, beautiful Wagon.
“This is an UNRESTORED, original Willys Wagon. It has been maintained but not restored. The mileage is actual, and it drives as good as it looks. It is not a mint vehicle. The paint has been refreshed at some time, but the old paint was not removed. I suspect it was getting faded. There is very minor surface rust, but I could find no spots that have bubbled through. The vehicle was either factory or dealer undercoated, and this coupled with dry climate and inside storage has preserved it. I had started some detailing under the hood, but there is plenty of work to be finished.
This wagon was originally purchased from Bob Jones Motors in Denver. It was taken to Montana where inside storage and infrequent use preserved it. The interior is unbelievable. the seats are still near perfect, and the grass cloth headliner is uncut and in perfect condition. The wind welt has begun to deteriorate, and I ordered new to replace it. I couldn’t bring myself to do it, as the original red fleck pattern is no longer available, and it is factory original. This has to be one of the best preserved original Willys wagons of this vintage. It comes with an original owners manual, and it’s original jack.
The wheel covers are from a later model. They came with the vehicle, they look good, so I left them on. As far as I know the only non functioning system is the wipers. At some time they were converted to electric, and the currently don’t work. All of the necessary parts to reconvert to vacuum come with the vehicle, along with a number of sare parts that I have gathered over time.”
1950 Wagon Oraville, Il eBay
Another good looking wagon courtesy of HOG.
“You are bidding on a 1950 Willys Overland Jeep station wagon. I recently purchased this vehicle and have done some detailing consisting mainly of touch up of chips in the paint and restoration of the steering wheel. This Jeep is very attractive and draws lots of attention. It is an older restoration that has held up very well. The body is very solid, and the upholstery and headliner are beautifully redone. The paint color is the original Willys adobe beige and tends to look a little lighter in my pictures. I would not hesitate to take this car to area shows although it is not perfect. The exterior trim is good, but the bumpers should be rechromed. The optional wrap around rear bumper extensions are a desirable extra. The woodgrain panels are very nice, but they are not real wood since the Jeep was the first all steel American station wagon. The glass is all good, and rubber has been replaced. The undercarriage is very clean with only the normal light surface rust to be expected on a vehicle that is driven at all. The engine is the original Hurricane 4 cylinder and runs very well. However, a person who is used to driving modern cars will find it to be under powered and primitive handling. It is a Jeep and handles like one. It would not be easy to find a better and more original Jeep than this. As you can see, the wheels and tires are not original, but otherwise there are no significant modifications. The mileage shown is not correct and probably not a good indication of condition since extensive restoration was done. Feel free to ask questions, and you are welcome to inspect the vehicle. The buyer is responsible for transportation of the car, and I will help in any way I can. If you want to talk to me directly, I can be reached at (618) 684-3707 (days) or (618) 426-3449. The winning bidder should pay a $500 deposit within three days of the auction ending with balance upon pickup of the vehicle. Deposit can be through Paypal , or the buyer may make other arrangements by contacting me.”

1947 CJ-2A/DJ-3A Body Napa County, CA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1300
(05/25/2010) The body appears in good condition, but hard to tell from this far away pic.
“I have a 1947 CJ-2A with a later DJ style body on it. It has the L-134 flathead motor, along with an upgraded Solex carb that many people swapped on to these engines. Has new carb rebuild kit, new spark plugs, new points, new electric fuel pump, new fuel lines, and about 80% left on some 31″ mud terrains. The bad news is a blown head gasket, however if you’ve ever seen one of these engines, it is probably the easiest thing to replace on a Willy’s, and despite this it will still drive around town, just not very far down the highway. It has some dents and dings, but verry little bad rust anywhere. Great for around the ranch or around town.”
