There may be some value here. But it is a mix of parts.

HOG forwarded this. I know very little about older bikes, so it was interesting to see how complex starting one of these old machines was.
Brian writes, “I am looking for a engine for a ford gpw 1943 military jeep. I live in san diego ca 619-990-1804 brian. Give me call.”
No pics provided. Shep forwarded this.
“Used 6 1/2 ft Fisher snow plow with power angle and lift. Previous owner had adapted plow to fit a Willys FC150 but was originally for a Jeep CJ. Brackets were modified back for use on 1985 Jeep CJ. Most brackets are unmolested but it may not be a direct bolt on. Rebuilt and used three seasons then stored indoors. New valve body, new lights, new hoses, new guide sticks, new cables for joystick control, sandblasted and painted. No photos available as of yet. Located in Greenup, IL. Call Jerry at 217-778-4108.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500
“I have a Jeep CJ 3A for sale. I purchased it from my father in law. It ran and drove a few years ago, but his “mechanic” took the motor out of it a few years ago and completely disassembled it. All of the parts were left outside, I gathered as many pieces as I could find, but I don’t know what is good and what is no longer useful. I think it is the “Go Devil” engine. I have the head, block, crank, starter, air intake, carb and a few other odds and ends. I was going to try to restore it but it is much too big of a project for me. The body has some surface rust, but I think the frame is good, the tub is marginal (big dent on driver’s side) and the hood and fenders are probably a lost cause. I beleive the axles and tranny are okay, but I’m not sure. No title, no vin, sold as parts. $500 takes it all. No trades, offers accepted. ”
For $250, the tub looks pretty good.
“Really nice 1951 Willys flatfender original tub for sale. This tub is rot free, but has some surface rust from sitting outside. It needs some body work, but it is a VERY good tub. LOTS OF OTHER WILLYS M38 PARTS AND JEEPS AVAILABLE.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800.
I’m thinking this needs a little more than just some wiring. What is on the hood?
“Has been converted from 6 volt to 12 volt. Complete. Needs to be wired”
Best offer takes this project. It appears to have a roll cage as well.
“Vintage 1942 Jeep, with a straight 6 engine, Best Offer. I don’t know a lot about Jeeps or cars in general, the jeep is part of an inheritance and has been sitting in the back yard for over 10 years, I had it towed to my place but haven’t had any time to change the fluids to run it, I did get a new battery for the jeep and it does try to turn over but I did not try to start it, the jeep is sold as is with a clear titel in hand, I have no idea for pricing so the jeep is being sold for best offer.”
UPDATE: Was $750. **Sold**
(01/05/2011) The floor seems to be missing some floor.
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A. Great restoration project! Engine, frame and drive train is pretty good. The tub is the worst but repairable. The front portion of the Jeep has minimal rust and is solid “floor board curve forward”. Engine turns over and has spark. New 6 volt battery 1-3-11. No title, but I will work with you on getting that resolved.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $600.
There might be some value here. I’m sure it can be picked up for less. The seller incorrectly identifies this as a CJ-2A.
“What you see is what you get – This 1948 Willys CJ-2A Jeep was on a property that was purchased by a Realtor so it does not run and has no title. Been sitting for a long time, but rolls freely. The transmission shifter is stuck in gear. All other shifters work just fine. No seats – and missing 1 plug wire, otherwise it appears to be all there. The engine is a 1953 Hurricane motor out of a CJ-3B. Comes with the original Willys rims, too.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(04/11/2010) It runs and doesn’t look too bad.
“1947 Willys Truck, all original frame and body with no modifications. Rebuilt 134 CID Go-Devil engine, less than 1000 miles on it. Three speed T 90 Tranny. Spicer 18 Transfer case. Timken split axle rear end. Dana 25 front end. The gas tank is bad but I have a brand new one for it. The body isn’t the best but it is in good condition for it’s age. The engine runs great. This is a classic truck in need of a restore. $2000 Firm..”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1900.
It runs. I can’t quite tell if the body is in good shape or not. It might be a good find for an eastern wagon.
“1951 JEEP WILLYS WAGON 4X4 HAS ORIGINAL 4 CYL ENGINE 3 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD BUT NEEDS MASTER CYLINDER FOR BRAKES AND SOME OTHER TLC ASKING $1900 CASH”
