“1946 CJ2A. Title has been lost, but bill of sale will be provided. The Jeep appears to be complete except for windsheild, tailgate, and air cleaner assy. 2 inward facing rear seats with grab handles. Roll bar. Tow bar is attached, but welds need to be redone. All running gear appears to be stock. Engine will turn over by hand. Have not put a battery in it to check electrical system. Transmission shifter not not seem to change gears, so it will need some attention. Body is in great shape without any major dents and very little rust. I do not believe there is any rust through. This one would make a great restoration project, deer lease, or farm truck. I can get more pictures within a few days upon request. Need cash more than trades, and all reasonable offers will be considered.”

Brian’s 1945 MB on Display
In July of 2010 Brian found a 1945 MB on eWillys which he purchased. After getting it home and getting some repairs done, he decided that it should go to work for him, so he’s been lending it out for people to use for photos or as a display. So, many of you have probably seen pics of jeeps doing just about everything, but have you ever seen it used to sell books? I thought it was a great idea!
Brian writes, “I’ve actually rented the jeep out already to people for photos and display use – it all helps with the costs. I recently rented it to be on display at a Book Launching (Surviving Your Serengeti by Stefan Swanepoel) attended by over 10,000 people.
