Glenn sent me the following note:
“I just received a commitment from Pam Weidel that she and John B. Haines IV will bring Nellybelle out to play at The Great Willys Picnic in Lansford, PA on Sunday, June 12, 2011. This will be, I believe, the first all Willys event for Roy Rogers famous CJ2A Jeep since Ms. Weidel purchased it last summer. Nellybelle was at AACA Hershey last October and resides permanently in Mr. Haines Race Car / Truck Museum in Pennsburg, PA. Don’t miss being there if you are anywhere nearby. I’m traveling 500 miles to be in the middle of this Willys spectacle.”

Has new: rear end, painless wiring kit, Corbeau seats, gages, battery, starter, Chevy tilt wheel column, shocks, exhaust, fan and block hugger headers. 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor and bigger aluminum radiator. The jeep is about 80-85% redone. Runs strong, 4wheel drive works great, downside: tranny just lost gears, only has 3rd, but I will give you a tranny that I have its a Ford 4 speed top loader with reverse which is over and down.”
While not jeep specific, there will be jeeps at this swap meet, which will be at the Idaho Motor Pool in Fruitland, Id. When I cruised past the property on I-84 last night, I saw at least 2 M38A1s, one flattie, and a m-151.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $150
Brett spotted this unusual and one-of-a-kind pedal car.
“Hand made on old pedal car frame was done in the 70’s by a guy who lived by my parents one of a kind in good shape missing one pedal. seat moves for different size kids.”
I wouldn’t describe this as “an easy project”, but there’s plenty here with which to work.
“this is an extremely rare and desirable cj2a with the “Jeep A Trench” option,it is complete but will need full restoration ,the trencher attachment is in very good condition and seems to have been used very little ,the engine is complete and unaltered ,it does turn nd was running when parked but again this will need to be restored. it also has the rare dual wheel option with reverse disc wheels in the front.this is an easy project wince it is mostly complete , it has sat for many years until a shed deteriorated so it has weathered quite a lot.
I havent the time of funds to restore so am selling to the high bidder ,there is no title but will come with bill of sale.unit must me picked up in ky zip 40051. I will be happy to take any pics or answer any questions .{misfit41@aol.com} 270 272 3660 ,thanks,Tim”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
It appears solid, but i suspect that body is a bit more dented then the pics suggest.
“Nice little Jeep – it has never been registered or titled. Was a farm vehicle. Originally from Texas so body metal is in good shape. I had a plow frame mounted on it but never plowed with it. It also has a tow bar. I have extra parts: steering colum, original seats, military canvas, manuals, etc. The price is $4500 or best offer. I had this at our hunting camp in WI but moved to MA so I realy don’t use it any more. I may consider a trade for a duck hunting/fishing boat or a street bike.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Can’t tell much from the pic.
