UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500
It seems to me the steps on this appear a little higher than they should be. I can’ tquite figure out how that is.
“1960 Willis Jeep. Was my father-n-laws. Been parked in garage for 3 years. Was running when he parked it but I’m sure it will need a little tlc now. It comes with a hard top & an extra trans.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
I love the battery tie down cord. It does beg the question, why isn’t the battery where it is supposed to be?
“Up for auction is a very Rare Vintage Willys Jeep CJ-3b in Restorable condition, I am not sure of the year and do not know anything about its Pedigree except for the ohv 4 Cyl motor purrs like a kitten, have been told the higher hoods were not available until the early 50’s, so possibly 1955 because of the 5’s in the vin#. Has never been registered, although it does drive great with 4WD high and low range. The locking hubs on front axles are warn hubs and work great, floor pans will need replaced, tailgate has rust along the bottom like most have, front grill is nice, hood looks great, top is aluminum and is also good, frame rails look good, very restorable vintage Jeep, comes equipped with hydraulic snow plow with extended chassis in front for the plow or winch, New battery, runs great, will need restoration, just painted for local parade but will need restored. could also use master cyl rebuild.”
This looks like a nice little rig.
“This wonderful little Jeep has ben completely refubished. It is very clean with no damage. Everything works and it runs like a clock. New tires. A BestTop Tiger convertible top. This Jeep needs nothing. I am selling it because hip and leg problems make it difficult for me to drive.”
Over $2000 invested?
“RUNS,NO EMAIL CALL 619 2036546,LOTS OF NEW PARTS INVEST OVER $2000”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2700.
It runs and appears to be solid, though it is missing some parts. The price seems a bit high given its barebones appearance.
“1946 willys, perfect restoration for beginner or advanced person. runs fine and body is in real good shape. i would also look to take a utility style 4 wheeler in trade to help do yardwork.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4800.

“1946 Willys CJ2A completely restored. Converted to 12 volt. I have all 4 original tires and rims. Lockout hubs. Extra steering columm. Excellent condition”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
It seems these are ran-when-parked non-runners. There seems to be some value in both.
“I have 2 Jeep Willys for sale that are projects. One has the Buick V6 and the other , the F head 4 cylinder. Both ran when parked about 8 years ago. No titles. $1000 cash for one or $1800 for both. Open for offers or partial trade”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2700.
The coloring of the image is strange enough that I’m wondering if this is really the jeep for sale. Though listed as a “Willys US Army Jeep”, the body suggests a M-38 while the grille suggest a civvy of some type.
“1945 Willys Jeep US Army newer motor Chevy HEI 4cyl original running gear (760)401-3989”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Best Offer.
It looks rough, but there’s value and it runs!

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
The body has seen better days, but it appears quite complete. This might be a good resto project.
“1946 Willys CJ 2A 4 Wheel Drive, this jeep has been in storage in a shed for over 20 years. It is complete but is not running. It might run with some work, It needs to be restored. There is rust on the front floorboards, and some in the back as well, but they look like a fairly easy fix. The frame and suspension looks very solid. It rolls easy, the tires are ok to roll it around but dont look road worthy due to cracks. It needs a good home, maybe a father son project!”
If you can not find ‘another jeep around that looks this good’, then you ought to consider moving. The engine has experienced a red sprayover, meaning it was taped off and sprayed. The body is much rougher than its glossy appearance. I could go on ….

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
(05/31/2011) It looks like the seller has listed the engine number as the VIN.
“12 volt conversion. Runs great. Original engine and air/oil filters. Has original factory installed live PTO option to run brush hog, sprayer, or water pump which is RARE! The flathead runs great and strong, the transmission shifts like new. Underneath this jeep is super solid, all crossmembers are solid and nice, the underside of the pan is very very nice. This was not a pan off but somewhere in it’s past I do believe it was–it definitely was babied. I did some basic maintenance to it, (oil, brakes, carb adjustment, etc) and proceded to make a jeep that was one to be used. I wanted something I could drive in a parade and then run to my favorite fishing hole in, not a show queen. The fact that this had the PTO just made it that much more special for me. This really is a great jeep and super nice driver. Has 16″ rims and tires have great tread, but do have some age cracks in them, nothing major just figured you should know.”
UPDATE: Still Available
