It is a project. It would not shock me if this wasn’t actually complete.
“Complete but disasembled. New suspension parts. Good used 600×16 tires for rollarounds.”

A reader named Chad inherited this jeep from his Grandfather. He hopes it gets a good home. It looks like it would be a good restoration candidate.

The floor boards and rear pan are in excellent shape. It was repainted at some point to the light blue color. It has original engine and it runs. Brakes work but are spongy due to the rubber getting a little soft. I have both seats, however only had one in for the pictures. Comes with full size spare rim and tire.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** was on EBay.
This is listed as a Mighty Mite, which it isn’t, but at a starting bid of $150 this looks like a good parts M-151 for someone. This is part of an estate sale.
“You are looking at a Mighty Mite Jeep that is being sold as part of an estate sale. I wish I could give you a year but I simple do not know an refuse to mis-represent the products I sell, but it Produced in the 50’s for the U.S. Marine Corp, with less then 4000 ever made. This is a desert car so the body is very well preserved. The motor is still there but has not been started for many years and is missing the carb. It dose has the fold down wind shield but the glass is missing, You will also notice that the seats are not there either. There I a old, hand crank winch in the car that is also part of the sale. There is no title, but with an old car like this it should not be hard to get. This would be great for restoring or built out to an off road beast.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500
Looks like a good price.

(07/19/2011) Francis has his jeep for sale. The tub is a bit of a puzzle, as it appears to be either a M-38 tub that has seen some good body work or a replacement tub of some type.
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A
Ford 4 Cyl
I think it is the original Transmission, Transfer case and Axles.
Has the original gas tank under the drivers seat but it is not hooked up. There has been a gas tank added in the back under the car. Done very well and looks like it was done at the factory. I think it is about 10 gallon but if you connected the original also it could have over 20. The gas gauge has a switch to see the level of both tanks.
New front racing seats with 4 point harness.
Backseat bottom lifts to reveal under seat storage.
Roll cage.
Tires are good.
Runs and drives great.
4 wheel drive 4×4 works no problem, Does great off road.
Locking hubs in front.
Tow bar.
Warn 5000lb winch ( I don’t have the wiring or controls for it)
No major rust.
Tub is in great condition.
Comes with extra set of wider wheels with old 31inch tires mounted.
Cons-
Front axle leaks a little.
Crack in exhaust manifold ( still runs and drives good just a little exhaust leaks out of crack).
Sometimes pops out of second when slowing down in second.
Crack in windshield.( flat glass should be easy to replace)
Price is $3600. I am in no hurry to sell. I might go down a little but no low-balers. Would consider trade for something of equal value 4 wheel drive that can be used and a duel purpose commuter and off road. Would like a nice 4×4 jeep Cherokee, lifted.
Please email offers or trades.
Call if you would like to come see with cash in hand. 818-two93-five4one7
I am not interested in letting everyone test drive my 64 year old jeep so if you would like to test drive please have cash in hand.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3300
This has been in two films; I guess historical accuracy was a secondary concern on the sets. That’s not a stock rearend.
“A fun and easy vehicle to drive. Easy to work on too. Freeway legal. Upgraded to a 225 c.u. V-6 and Hurst automatic transmission. It’s a must see and won’t last at this price. This Jeep has been in two films already at $500. per day.”

Norm shared a pic of his 1962 Wagon. He notes that yes, the split windshield is from the wagon, but the chrome is from a 50’s wagon. Nice looking rig Norm!
I’m guessing this only runs downhill? Look up ‘rat’s nest’ and you will see the pic on the lower right.

(07/13/2011) This looks like a fun little rig.
“1957 Willys CJ3A has Chevy 283 V8 with HEI Ignition. Jeep looks, runs, and drives great. Has T-90 Transmission, Dana 44 axels. FIberglass body, fold and tumble rear seats, 12v wipers, CD Stereo, driver passanger and rear lap seat belts, and many other new parts. $4,500 OBO”
Here’s a great looking seat. The seller also has a NOS Chaff Screen for sale too.
“This is an almost like new seat that is the proper seat for a late CJ2A and will also fit the 3a and 3B. It shows little wear on the original upholstery and a few small scratches on the metal work. The vinyl is grey in color. You will need to figure out shipping but we would be more than happy to crate it for you. Local pick up would be preferred. eBay made me put a price in for shipping. I have no idea what it would cost to ship.”
