“Very well preseved 1947 overland is all original except converted to 12 volt. Has 22000 miles and runs and drives great. There is NO rust holes or swollen seams but it could use a paint job.Brand new military style tires, new mastercylinder and rebuilt starter. By far better than a golf cart because it’s road legal and goes almost 50 mph. It is also gets very good mileage and it’s 4 wheel drive. ”

“I am selling a 1950 Willys CJ3A. I have the title (in my name) and matching VIN plate. The Jeep was modified years ago with a good running Ford 4 cylinder (Pinto or Mustang) that almost doubles horsepower of the stock 4 cylinder flathead motor. The motor was upgraded with a Weiand aluminum intake and Holley 4 barel carb. The steering was upgraded to a Saginaw manual box with tilt column. The 9″ brakes were replaced with 11″ brakes from a 1972 or 1973 CJ5. The tires area matched set of 31 x 10.50 on wide steel wheels (look to be 8″). The hood, grill, fenders and winshield frame look pretty good (several ayers of flaking paint) and could easily be saved. The body will need to be stripped and will need new floor panels.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
It runs! The wood paneling is … different.

Erroneously listed as a 1946 CJ-2A, this GPW looks in very good condition.
“Classic, 1946 Army Jeep (built by Ford), lovingly restored using genuine parts from the 1940s Original 4 cy. engine. A joy to drive. Still out performs modern 4WDs on steep hills. Family pride and joy, but time to downsize. Looking for a buyer with equal love of classics. Available for viewing by appointment. Complete with shovel, axe and fuel can. Always stored inside, includes fitted dust cover.”
This still needs some work.
“i have a 51 m38 been in storage since the 70’s all stock except for a new ford 289 never fired. new exhaust was an old navy jeep. seats have been redone right now the willys is stripped to metal didn’t want to paint it not sure what color new owner might like. the front fenders hood and windshield are all painted OD green. i was going to build a wheeler but this m38 is in way too good of shape for me to beat up.. has a new tow bar on it.has original dana 25 and dana 44 axles no longer has bump steer been converted. the bad…..needs wiring harness needs brake master cylinder and clutch hooked hooked up. this willys is in really good shape for the year. pass side rear in the early 70’s drive caught the spare tire carrier on a tree and rippled the corner a bit. where the windshield sits is a little wavy… will send pics if interested. there is a spare hood and front fenders also not pictures is the half roll bar”
I haven’t seen too many of these for sale lately.

This looks like a good price.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000.
(09/21/2011) The seller claims this was never abused, but I think the body lift this was given constitutes abuse. Anybody have the phone number for the jeep abuse hotline?
“Up for your consideration is a 1943 Willys Jeep it comes with Bantam trailer that is the correct WW II model for this vehicle.
The Jeep has an original inline L head 4 cylinder 134 cubic inch engine and 3 speed transmission it has the original front and rear axles and battle rims.
The Jeep is 132 inches in length it has a wheel base of 80 inches.
The Jeep has no issue with rust it has a good tub and frame it has never been wrecked or abused.
It was bought from a WW II veteran who bought it originally (he was a sailor) by my dad who also served in WW II we were going to restore this together but things came up
The engine is complete and was running it will need to have the ignition rewired and fuel system hooked up ( we were in the middle of going through it and had to stop) something time never allowed me to finish.
It has all of the driveline intact and is fairly complete it does not have any of the pioneer tools or canvas.
The tail lights are not original the roll bar was added as were the front seats, the body now sits on lift blocks to clear a larger capacity fuel tank.
The Jeep has low miles it was used on a large farm as a tool chaser for the tractors or vehicle to go out and move the water pipes or a hunting trip once in a while, it was last driven on a highway in 1972 and has been on dirt roads or farm roads most of its life until it was put into storage a few years ago.
It has the data tags they are intact but need to be cleaned as they have been painted over.
The trailer at some point was converted to a drop tailgate and had a different hitch and bar added it has some rust in the front of the trailer that needs to be fixed, I was just glad to find a WW II trailer to eventually restore to go with the project at the time as Bantams are getting harder top find and more expensive.
I will not sell separately they go together.”
