“Up for sale today is a mini Willys WW2 Jeep.
Military vehicle fans, this is a must have for your kids at rallys and shows!
This gas powered replica is made by Junior Replicas (A branch of the FAO Schwartz) and features a fold flat windshield, full suspension, brakes, electric start, working headlights, strobe lights, mini NDT tires (just like the real thing!) 5hp Honda engine, and a forward / reverse transmission. This sweet little Jeep even has a variable speed limiter to keep the top speed of the vehicle contained for younger drivers and adjust it as they grow. The safety shift lever prevents breakage of the gears and keyways so inexperienced drivers do not damage the engine or transmission components. It is also equipped with a brake pedal on the passenger side so Daddy can stop them before they run over the neighborhood cat!
The replica is 2/3 scale of the real thing, it is exact from to the pioneer tool kit to the mini spare fuel can on the back. It even has the Army lettering and the correct color and shade of paint!
Power Wheels and other ride-ons can’t compare to the safety of this steel and fiberglass quality built machine. Don’t make them wait 6 hours for it to charge back up! Get them this gas powered play machine for hours of war games in the back yard! Your kid will be the talk of the neighborhood.
If you are an MV fan or off road enthusiast than start your kids early, get them the Mini Willys ride on Army Jeep Replica!!
Here is a video showing the jeep in action and the size compared to a ‘real’ Willys!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66Av3KyQ8sk&feature=related
These replicas went for up to $10,000 new.
This one is in excellent (near perfect) condition.
$3995
E-mail the link above if you have any questions or would like to set up a time to see it.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(06/06/2011) It might be a repo, but it’s also worn based on the windshield gasket marks. I might have posted this one previously.

“1949 willys m-38 flat fender. This willys is partially restored. I have sand blasted the frame and painted. fabricated new body parts and restored original. I have front and rear axle’s, transmission and transfer case, original motor also. I was going to install a new motor and suspension. This is a work in progress and will be a great 4×4 when complete. If interested You can see the willy’s or I can send photos.”
This is a project still.
“1942 Willys Flat fender jeep. Newly built, never started Buick 231ci V6, headers, edelbrock carb, muncie 4 speed tranny, new clutch, dana transfer case, driveshafts, full width GM 12 bolt / Dana 44 front axles, warn locking hubs, roll cage, 38″ mud swampers tires. Too many projects, this one needs to go. Needs electrical, hydraulic, steering, and interior installed. Have most of parts included. Looking to trade for something you have?? Email me with what you have, any info, and any pictures.”
There’s some value here.
“I Have a 1941 willys MB
-T 84 transmission
-dana 18 transfer case
-Dana 25 front axle
-Dana 27 rear axle
The previous owners put a v8 and cherry bomb exhaust in it and ran it like that. The motor is junk. The body needs work but Kaiserwillys . com sells new body panels and full tubs for what you want to replace. This would be a full restore but when completed a 1942 MB goes for about $22,000 on average as most that hit the streets in the US were battle damaged. This is a WWII military piece of history and I cannot bring myself to junk it. BUT I could sell the frame, transmission, transfer case and axles and scrap the rest and make $800, I just don’t have the time to put into the restore while working 60-70 hours a week. I was going to put a 1.6l VW diesel engine in it and run it around town… I have that for sale as well for a additional cost(Incomplete engine). call/text 210-551-9739 (more likely to get a reply from text/email as i don’t tend to answer random phone numbers.)”

“This is a Bantam BRC Syrocowood paperweight. As far as we know these were given out by Bantam to officers testing the Bantam Jeeps. I found this one sitting in a local antique shop!”
=======================
After seeing this post, Josh forwarded me a picture of his syrocowood Bantam paperweight that includes an image of his tank syrocowood too. He wrote, “I’ve been collecting those bantam paperweights for years. They are syrocowood and should have a little sticker gold and black on the bottom that says ‘Made in the USA SYROCOWOOD SYRACUSE NY’. Here’s one of a pen holder I have, also I a few tanks; one of the tanks a pipe holder.”
