UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
This needs some work.
“All original 4 cylinder engine, runs good.””
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1600.
(06/13/2011) Mark from Jeeptruck forwarded this one.
“The pickup came originally with a four-cylinder, but a prior owner installed a 1964 Ford 262 cubic inch straight-six. This engine came only in Ford’s one-ton and larger truck series. The Willys has been stored since 1985. It has a clear title. After rebuilding the carb, cleaning the fuel-pump, replacing the plugs, adjusting the valve lash, and pulling the oil pan to clean it and the oil pump, the truck starts easily and runs very smooth. While the original engine used a mechanical clutch linkage, the six-cylinder uses a hydraulic clutch. Clutch and brake hydraulics are supplied by an old-style GM one-reservoir brake/clutch master cylinder (looks identical to a Raybestos part #MC34404). This master cylinder is dry and rust filled, so it will need to be replaced. So currently the Willys has no clutch or brake action (The parking brake works great!). The Willys has its original T-90 (3-speed, floor-shift) transmission, Dana-18 transfer case, Dana-25 front differential, and Timken (clam-shell) rear differential. The body is solid except for the outer floorboards (which need to be replaced), and some corrosion at the rear sides of the bed (refer to the photos). The electrical system seems to be 12 volt, although the wiring is mostly original. The coil has a resistor before it (like 12 volt) and the ammeter shows charging in the normal range (uses a generator).
As the Willys has NO clutch or brake hydraulics, IT MUST BE TOWED OR SHIPPED. It is sold AS-IS; NO WARRANTY.
The Willys is in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. Contact by email at: randall1921@hotmail.com”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2300.

The top is pretty shredded in the rear.
“Ford V8 engine, runs good, needs clutch.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(07/26/2012) I’m gonna guess that this is a M-38 body and front clip on a CJ-2A frame and possibly drive train. The gas inlet looks more civilian than military though. The tailgate is civilian, too.

(09/07/2012) Parked when running 35 years ago. This is a very stock jeep with the belt pulley PTO. It also comes with a bunch of new parts. However, it is also a rusty jeep that hasn’t moved in three decades.
“1952 CJ3A Willys Jeep
This Jeep is about as original and complete as you will find. I bought it from the family that bought it new. It was mainly used for farm use and has been sitting for 35 years. as a result it only has 36,000 miles on it. It has the flat head four cylinder “Go Devil” motor that is still a 6 volt electric system. two speed transfer case and three speed manual transmission. This Jeep was also equipped with the factory optional rear PTO system. The Jeep has never been restored or modified. It has a lot of parts with it you almost never find. seat frames, frame for the soft top, door frames, mirrors, under seat tool box with the willys stamped lid. I have the optional under door side steps, and the snap on grill screen, to keep weeds out of the radiator while mowing. The crown jewel piece I have is the adator that allows you to run belt driven items, like a grits or saw mill with the PTO. I even have the original owners manual for it. I have not tried to start the motor, It ran and drove before it was set up. but the last time it was started was 35 years ago. The only thing I have done is knocked off some of the surface rust and put them areas in primer just to persevere it, and that is all I have been doing too it. I have a new baby on the way so I not going to have the time to continue working on it in the near future, and for a while. and would rather not see it sit. I was planing on fully bringing this Jeep back and keeping it as a result I have bought up quite a few spare parts. I have an flathead engine a frame with front and rear axles, extra generator, carburetor, starter, manifolds, steering column, hood, front grill, hubs, four extra stock rims and other misc things. Over a grand in spare parts alone. Price for everything is $4000″
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.

This looks good. I wonder if there is some paperwork to indicate this was a military vehicle.
“Selling a 1954 Willy’s Delivery Wagon. Has a straight six engine with a three speed manual tranny. 26k original miles. Use to be a military vehicle. Body and interior are in great condition. Runs great. This jeep was built to last. Has new paint. Gets a lot of attention at car shows. Asking $6000. If you have any questions or want to see it give me a call. Mike 315-657-2925”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000.
This has some unusual features, including an imposing front bumper. The hood bump doesn’t make sense given the height of the current motor. The use of diamond plating in the rear is unusual, too.
“1954 Willys Box Fender Jeep Motor 350 Chevy, Edelbrock Intake Manifold, Edelbrock Valve Covers, Edelbrock Air Cleaner Delco-Remy Distributor, Dual Elect fans in Custom Stainless Steel Shroud, Hurst 3-Speed Trans Power Steering, Custom Hard-Top, SW Gauges, Custom Stainless Steel Dash, Fold-down Rear Seats, 35″ X 12.5″ BF Goodrich All-Terrain Tires with Spare, Custom Battery Box, Flow Master Exhaust.”
UPDATE: This appears to have sold. Price was $1199.
“Jeep Willys with L134 4 cyl. engine, three speed manual. Always starts right up, has front disc brakes. Tires are good, 33×12.5×15 MTR’s. Body fairly solid and soft top. Has custom made frame very solid and strong. The jeep is a mixture of parts from CJ2A &CJ3A & M38. I have had it for many years and no longer have use for it. Has been in storage for ten years and will need some maintenance.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
This has surface rust, but it appears solid. This has some unusual seat covers.
“1950 M38 Willys Jeep, Hard top, straight 4 cylinder, 24 volt system. 90-95% original, good mechanical shape, needs body work. Heater already added to jeep.”
The price seems a bit high given the overspray on the dash and other issues.
“1943 Ford Military Jeep GPW 3 speed transmission 4 cyl 4X4 all original been siting for years i inherited it but have no use for it but its a true piece of history something really rare
something you dont see everyday call me for more info at (562)644-2779”
UPDATE: Dennis reports this has sold. It was listed at $1500.
This hasn’t b een run in a while and has rot on the driver’s side at the very least. The half cab looks good.
“MOTOR REBUILT IN EARLY 1990’S, BEEN IN STORAGE FOR LAST 15 YEARS, LAST STARTED IN 2001. 6′ BLADE INCLUDED.”
The seller notes this “Won’t go CHEEP”

These have become quite rare. Nearly all parts are “F marked” from the factory all the way down to many bolts! This Jeep is nearly complete from top to bottom and is mainly all original. All that you see on the Jeep goes with the Jeep including all the gear, The .30 Cal,
The Radio Never Hooked Up So I Have No Idea If It Works.
The body is in very good original condition. The front floor has been repaired along with all the hat channels. The transmission Is the original
rebuilt T84. For a 69 year old vehicle, this Jeep looks great and is ready for you to hop in a go.
Its ready for that around town drive or that WWII Reenactment or that parade. The engine runs perfectly with great oil pressure and no smoke. Four Wheel drive works perfectly. The brakes have been reworked, and all the electrical replaced including the gauges minus the speedometer gauge. The tires are NOS 700-16 6 ply military NDCC tires. The Jeep has a clear title! This Jeep Was a “Barn Find” and was restored using all the original parts found with it! Sold as is.
Serious Buyers Only, It Won’t Go CHEEP”
This looks nice, but has been converted to 4WD.
“Parts from CJ3A fit
New Warren Hubs
Electronic ignition
electric fuel pump
Entire drive train in good condition
Runs good- in excellant condition.
No rust”
This has an overdrive, runs and stops. MIght not be a bad price.
“1951 Willys CJ3A. Well hammered/ rusty but runs better than it looks. Has overdrive, good tires and brakes. Driven regular. Hate to sell. Vince 818-371-5377located Mojave,CA”
This is advertised as a ’45, but I see nothing to verify this.
“This Jeep RUNS & DRIVES!!! Needs a charged battery & Gas when you come to look at it. Start button on the floor it was my husbands’s jeep. Only thing it needs is an oil change and a shock stem needs to be welded back on it on drivers side. Other than that needs some touch ups to the seats and a new paint job. (As far as I know) Text Only about this Jeep. I will not answer phone calls, unless I tell you otherwise. 435-219-2878”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
(08/17/2010) “All original except the motor is now a 225. Runs great, has full hard top with doors and all glass along with pto drive to the front koenig winch.”
This looks solid.
“It’s stock except for the engine, which is a rebuilt 4 from a much newer CJ5, which really improves the mpg. It’s in great shape (my opinion, of course), fully licensed and insured, and perfect for an around town joyrider. Everything works except the horn button and the parking brake, but “everything” is a pretty small list.
There’s no radio or turn signals or wipers or top. Those were extra cost options in 1947. I will include a wiper motor and turnsignal switch, also a Willys horn button kit.
Those can be your first projects!!!
Remember, this is a vintage truck, and it drives like one. This is not a car for Martha Stewart fans. This is for the folks who watch Wheeler Dealers and Overhaulin.
I got it because I’m a tinkerer. I love working on old machines. To me, a well spent Saturday would include getting under the hood and messing around with wrenches.
But now, we’re moving, and I won’t have room at the new place.
If you want something that’s fun to drive, and will bring out your inner grease monkey, this is for you. If you’re serious about buying, give me a call and we can take a test drive around my neighborhood, and discuss. I’m located just south of Portland and east of Milwaukie near the intersection of Webster and Thiessen. Give me a call at 5 zero 3 9 zero 8 zero 9 zero zero.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900.
This might be a franken-jeep, based on the description.
“1947 CJ2A Willy Jeep flat head 4four engine and back half of Wrangler.”
