“THIS IS NOT LIKE 95% OF THE WILLY’S JEEPS YOU FIND AROUND HERE! ARIZONA JEEP WITH NO RUST!!!!
I brought it here when I moved from Phoenix and it’s been in storage ever since. It’s in great shape but engine needs rebuilding (low compression). I’ve discribed it in more detail below. If you are reading this it is still available, I will delete the ad the moment someone buys it.
I’ve owned, played, and worked on it over the 15 or so years. This jeep has had a frame off rebuild, stored inside and over the years I’ve put a lot of time and money into it, best guess about 10,000+. Relax, I know I’m not going to get that out of it, I’m just looking for best offer, possibly $4500 cash or $7500 trade. I am open to discussions on all fair trades but I will not discuss a lower cash price without showing the Jeep to you first, THIS IS A MUST SEE. (more info on Craigslist)”
This has a mb/gpw passenger fender.

Karson took time out from his FEMA/Americorp duties to visit the Aerospace Museum of California, located at the McClellan Air Force Base in McClellan, CA (near Sacramento) on Sunday. (Note: the museum’s website was down at the time I wrote this post).
Naturally, Karson is on constant watch for jeeps — oh the things children must endure to please their parents — and knows to send pictures of jeeps whenever he can. Dutifully, he located two jeeps, one with a Coast Guard theme and the other with a Navy theme. We both thought it ironic that the Coast Guard jeep had Utah license plates, because there wasn’t much coast for it to guard in Utah.

“Up for auction is my 1941 Ford GP. This GP has the original motor. The number on the block is GP- 8641 which matches the data plate. The number on the head is GP-6050. The carb, air cleaner, distributor and fuel pump are missing. The motor still turns over by hand. The seats are missing. I have an orginal gas tank that will go with the jeep but it is rusted out. the rear bumperetts are all there and in good shape. some one welded a hitch to the pintel hitch but it will cut off easily. The tub has some rust in it. the floors will need replacing but the rear body panel is ok. The front sheet metal is in nice shape no rust and it’s not beat up except for the hood which has a hole in it from what looks like a fan blade going through it but it will repair easily. This GP has 5 correct solid wheels. This jeep will come with two correct tail lights and a 1941 jerry can. The grill is in nice shape and the headlights and brakes are correct but the black out lights are missing some pieces. I have a clear title in hand. You can call me at 507 329 4551 with any questions. I may be slow to respond to email. Pick up only I can help load only after I am paid in full.”
UPDATE: Was listed at $7200. **Status Unknown**
