“I will be at the Military vehicle collectors swap meet tomorrow, Sunday the 14th with original WWII Jeep parts and other Military items. The swap meet is at the AMVETS of Irwindale at 14910 Los Angeles Street beginning at 6am and ending around 11am. It is not a big swap meet but if you need WWII Jeep parts or are a collector of vintage Military items this is the place to be! Look for a Desert Tan painted Jeep Comanche with matching shell! Here is the clubs website and the swap is held the second Sunday of each month! http://www.scmvcc.com”

Nate’s got this IHC Titan running. Check out how he starts it.
Marc spotted this interesting letter. It sold on eBay last month. It goes to show that even hard top makers were having problems finding material to build their aluminum top.
UPDATE: **SOLD** This is an early GPW sold on eBay.
“this Ford GPW was the 10,584th GPW built, and is one of the last ones made with a Willys frame. It has just been completely restored and has only four miles on it, it runs good but is some missing items like seat cushions, filterette, pioneer tools, oil can, canvas top, one J hook and some of the radio suppression straps. Most of the big parts are original and correct, and it has the original floorpans though they have been patched a little and the fuel tank well was replaced. The significant reproduction items on the jeep are the rear seat, spare tire rack, front bumper, air cleaner, horn, speedometer, oil/temp/amp gauges and data plates. Fenders, hood, windshield, fuel tank, front seats, radiator, grille, regulator, generator, fuel strainer and starter are original. The battery is new but not an antique style, it also has either period or new bolts in about three dozen places there should be F marked bolts, other than that this jeep is very correct. The jeep is registered non-op and has California plates and a clear title, it also comes with the original speedometer that should be repairable. The headlight switch is an original and has been not working correctly, it may have to be replaced if I can’t fix it in the next few days.
The tires are the repop Firestones, and all of the rims are original combat type, I do have a couple more radio suppression straps that are not in the photos that were installed later under the hood.
This is you chance to get one of the rarest GPWs made, in nice shape and ready for parades, reenactments or with some modest amount of parts and work a factory show jeep. If you have questions or would like more photos please ask, thanks for looking!”
This runs and drives. Starting bid $1000.
“Selling my running and driving 1956 willys. Was sitting and now runs and drives and shifts and stops. Has and older restoration but now needs an new fender installed which I have and paint. Title in hand call Paul with any questions 9736681338”

“Up for sale is Ford GPW 75591, DOD October 1942. I hate to sell this but I have other projects that I’d like to tackle. This project is in disassembled condition, as seen in the pictures. Everything (except the combat rims) in the pictures is included*. And there may be more items that if I can dig up I will add in. *If you choose to “buy it now” I will pull the original GPW/F marked radiator from my Slat grill and add it in, along with the 5 brand new reproduction combat rims shown in the last picture.
The original GPW parts include the GPW numbered frame, axles, springs, original tub with original data plate (though difficult to read), original fenders, hood, seats, pedal arms, pedals, and fuel tank straps. The following came with this GPW when I purchased it. I am unsure if they are original to this jeep but they are period correct: steering box and column, transfercase and parking brake. I also have information about from which Ford factory this was produced and a rather accurate original hood number range.
The parts that are not original to this jeep, but original and correct F MARKED PARTS INCLUDE the green spare hood, pintle hook, headlight buckets and arms, bullet marker lights, splash shield, bellhousing, flywheel, large bellhousing cover, T-84 transmission, transfer case arms, grill, correct SG marked radiator fan, and extra Ford Script tub.
WWII jeep correct items include the windshield, reflector bezels, NOS boxed fender blackout bulb, taillight buckets, flat-bottomed oil filter, auto-lite distributor caps, thermostat housing, oil pan, green sheller steering wheel, fuel tank, and rebuilt like-new 1944 dated fuel pump. (more info on eBay)”

“Up for sale is my 1950 willys CJ3A
Clean title in my name. first titled in 1950 so its never had the title lost or been retitled.
It currently runs and drives.
Nice strait frame and good running gear.
Nearly new wheels and tires no rot.

I bought a May 1975 issue of Four Wheeler Magazine, because it was cheap. I didn’t find anything interesting in it until stumbled across a picture of Jim Carter racing through mud on the last page. Jim and his wife Patti were long time friends of my parents and encouraged them to join the fledgling Wandering Willys Jeep Club. Those that have read my book might recognize the name.
For an unknown reason, JIm isn’t racing their jeep Otis, but someone else’s (or this photo is earlier than 1975). I do recognize that helmet though.
Don’t forget that the North/South Carolina Flat Fender Clubs will be holding a Meet on April 13th. The location is at the foot of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park, in Mt Pleasant SC. Time of meet is 8:30am until 4pm.
