About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“BUY ONE OR BUY BOTH; TWO 1973 JEEP CJ’S; 6 Cyl.; AMC Motor; Automatic Transmission; One Has 79,749 Original Miles And The Other Has 57,652 Original Miles. Both Run And Drive. Only One Is Pictured (Except The Odometer), But They Are Identical) Priced At $2000.00 EACH”
Blaine shared this one. This likely came from the Victor, MT, estate sale (see first pic on that link, which shows the front of a blue FC on the first pic, left side, 2nd pic down).
“This non-running 4 x 4, standard trans. cab forward has 4 new tires, good sheet metal and is a very rare unit. $6500 or best cash offer. 406-3 six one-0 two eight 0. Thanks for your time.”
This rare Jeep Station Sedan model came from eBay. This seems to be a pretty rare item (I’ve never seen another one). Given the Station Sedan was produced in 1948, I imagine the model is from that year as well.
As a reminder, here’s the color scheme for the Jeep Station Sedan:
“Nice example of a classic Willys. Straight body, good paint and solid running gear. Civilian half cab canvas top and seat cushions manufactured by Beachwood canvas works.”
“1954 CJ3B , great restored condition. New top, new interior, new powder coated wheels, Tru Trac tires, Warn lockout hubs, Warn overdrive, 11″ brakes, 12 volt conversion, roll bar and seat belts.”

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $35,000. This has been relisted (maybe by another owner). I have it last listed in 2016.
Lots of work has gone into this.
Current post description: 1947 Willys Woody Wagon Hot Rod. 4 inch chop and lowered. Chrysler 413, automatic. Chrysler torsion bar front end with power disc brakes and power steering. Currie 9 inch rear end. Custom leather interior. Louvered hood. Faux woodie paint. Amazing how many people think it’s real wood. Much easier to maintain. So unique that it has won all kinds of car show awards. You won’t see another Willys wagon this customized.
“1951 Willys CJ 3A. no title but will provide bill of sale. this Willys runs good. It has a weak starter but still fires up. It has the overdrive which is nice. I’ve drove it all over place for a few years now. Its getting too small for my family and our adventures so I’m selling it so it doesn’t just rot in the yard.”
“1959 Willys Pickup (NOT WAGON) that runs and drives. It was originally a farm truck in Colorado but has been in Utah as a project truck for the last few years. It has been garaged for the last few years.
It has the original 226 cu in 6-cylinder “Super Hurricane” engine. The odometer shows 14,333 but we’re not certain if it has rolled over 100k miles. Original 3 speed manual transmission, 2 and 4WD (hi and lo) and rare manual front lockers in working condition. New tires all around with the spare in the bed.
The body needs some work. There is rust (mostly on the truck bed) but for it’s age it’s in incredible condition. It’s not a show truck in its current condition but it turns heads every time we drive it. We’ve had a lot of people express interest in using it for weddings and photoshoots.
We purchased it with the intent to restore it but never found the time and want to help it find a new home with someone that can restore it to it’s original beauty.”
“We are selling our 1947 Willys jeep that needs some loving it’s been in storage for many years . It will make a great jeep for the rubicon are just for the fun of taking it out on week ends. Also I think it has T-90 Borg warn overdrive.”
1947 Jeep willys frame finished, however I was in the process of restoration. Motor runs. it’s Missing seats and windshield. Original 4 cylinder motor No title”
“1947 project Willy’s barn find. Rolling chassis and no numbers. Was used as a sand drag jeep in the 70s & 80s and used to have a 327 corvette engine.”
“Full hardtop off CJ3B. Hardtop only for sale.
Koenig all steel.
All windows intact except rear door.
Very straight…
Needs clean up, paint and felt in window runner channels.
Pictures are of top prior to removal.”
“I believe this 1964 Jeep Truck is a Kaiser FC170. My dad was working on the rebuild before he passed away. If you love jeeps this would be a fun one to finish the rebuild project he started.
Comes with new fuel tank, fuel pump, breaks windshield and more that are waiting to put in.
We have the title and would love to pass this on to someone who would enjoy the vehicle.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5100. Pics updated on ad. A Reader looked at this and noted the following: “it has a lot of issues: rust holes in flooring, blowing white smoke, not staying in 3rd gear, etc.“
(04/19/2022) The jeep runs, but see above…
“1946 Willy’s Jeep runs great pinkslip in hand. Insured and registration up to date. New gas tank break lines, cylinder head and gasket. New tires about 30 miles on them.make reasonable offer.”
(12/04/2020) At the bottom you can see a video of a Kubota V2203 from a refrigeration unit installed in a flattie. You can learn more about this swap at overlanddiesel.com.

Finally, another Salesbuilder landed on eBay. This one is from January 1950. One of the interesting things to me was the 12-postcard campaign shown on page 17; I’ve only documented a handful of the postcards.
This 1957 FC-150 Brochure is Form No. CS-4-57. I’m sure most of you have seen this brochure, but I hadn’t documented it. I got it off eBay and it came with an unopened FC-170 brochure Form No. CS 5-57 I.S.B. I’ll think I may have another one of those brochures. I’ll have to check my folders.
Nick takes a look at this mostly stock 1947 CJ-2A. Note the unusual location the steering box mod (it does not appear mounted against the frame rail; rather, it is slid towards the passenger side six or more inches. I could only catch a few glimpses of it, such as time stamp 20:01-20:03 (there might be others). An additional cross member was welded between the bumper and the standard cross member, then a support was welded between the new crossmember and the bumper. It’s to that support that the steering box is attached.
UPDATE: This may be the early version of the Value-rater. An updated version with 1960 dates was reportedly published in 1960 according to the March 1960 issue of Jeep News, page two.
This ebay brochure find is not one I’ve seen. Form No. 59-17, it details comparisons between jeep models (FC-150s, FC-170s, Wagons and Trucks) and the competition. I’ll update it with the real pics when I receive the brochure.
