Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It runs and drives. The DJs run and are cheap. Will we ever see them become popular rebuilds? It wasn’t that long ago that flat fenders were cheap and ubiquitous.

“Jeep has 304 AMC V8 with power steering, 12 volt system, custom seats, lockable front hubs,lift kit, roll cage, tow bar, tailgate, fuel tank under bed, signal lights, fold down windshield, dual exhaust, tread in new condition on tires. Body rusty but in fair condition, windshield in great shape. Engine in excellent condition and runs great. trail or highway ready. Can send pics upon request. Please email anytime.”

Without the tires I don’t see much value.
“1947 Willys CJ-2a chevy 307 small block conversion, original transmission transfer case and axles with 5.13 gears for crawling. Has a small life, it will fit 34 inch tires. It ran a year ago, needs new flywheel installed. Comes with needed flywheel, an extra rear axle, and extra oem engine parts. Asking $1000 obo without tires, extra $500 for brand new 34X10.50 tsp super swampers. Great for restoration or rock crawler build. Also selling the 18′ flat bed tandem trailer with a tilt bed and a winch, $880 obo. Have titles for both.”

This is an intriguing combo.
“1946 Willys Jeep; New all steel body, painted Forest Green with bed liner material underneath and on floors; seats upholstered; converted to 12 volt; tinted windshield. Needs completion.
1948 Willys Jeep; 6 volt; full metal topper; Front and rear PTO’s; rear hitch; electric wipers; good windshield. Has not been started in 10 years. Always stored inside.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3750. These all look like NEKAFs.
If they run, this might be a good price.
“3 – M38A1 “Nekaf” Dutch Army Willys Jeeps. The red and green jeeps are 1956 models, and the white one is a 1960. I have titles for all three. All three are original and haven’t been “civilianized”, as they have their original 24V electrical systems. Most everything is there, they all need repair / rebuild. New tires on the red jeep.”
