“Great collectable Jeep pedal car, probably from the 60’s look at pics ONLY $ 350 OBOCALL”
UPDATE: I might be wrong about the overdrive. On closer look, one of the knobs connects to a rod that disappears under the dash. Brian spotted that.
“Ran years ago, no title. Good for parts or restore. Comes with plow. Here are some numbers
that may help with id. Am selling for family, can only say it sat outside a few years.
Willys W4 8003784, 6-48C, 452GB1 35367
570-249-196two
I have been informed that this is a 1952 CJ-3A, based on the numbers.
Have posted more pics to help prospective buyers.”
UPDATE: Was listed at $750. Sold.
Here’s an early trailer (based on the serial number).
“1942 Willys. Has several coats of paint and some rust, mostly complete. Floor has many small holes, otherwise appears solid. A tailgate has been cut, but it was “tastefully” done. Original data plate as far as I can tell. Plate and registered. See photos.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000
Unclear if it runs, but looks stock.
“Awesome old jeep. It’s a 48-49 Willy’s jeep. Complete. All is there. $2,000.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This runs.
“I have a 1962 willy’s with a 283 conversion and it runs. I changed all the fluids in the vehicle. I have also put a brand new gas tank and radiator in the jeep. It runs and drives. I also have the original motor but it does need to be gone through. If you have any questions feel free to ask”
This has an unusual paint job. I’m wondering if the black is covering something up.

“This is Willys CJ2A S/N 185318, a documented Lefty, as discussed in “Calling All Leftys” on The CJ2A Page. This is a PROJECT!! It needs EVERYTHING restored. Mostly complete vehicle, rusty body and frame. Frame has been repaired, repaired again, needs more repair now. Body has been off frame, repaired, welded in floors, panels and needs more repair now. Engine, drive train are stock, non running, looks complete, I haven’t tried. Has a rear PTO unit, but needs repair also. As per PO, this Jeep was running when put into storage about 5 years ago. I added stock KH 16″ rims with oversized 7;50X16 tires, took out bucket seats, added stock left seat frame. RH seat is not stock, maybe Crosley. The dash tag is very readable with CJ2A-185318. The frame tag is missing. The ACM Number looks like 17?579 and others in that neighborhood show the third digit might be a 5 or 6. Buyer will research further. This is very near the end of Lefty production as per Willys Service Bulletin 48-27 and less than 25 have been accounted for making this a very worthwhile project. Sold with a Bill of Sale only as Maine is a non title state..”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9800.
(08/12/2013) This looks in good shape.

There’s an interesting article about Vic Hickey’s supercharged flat fender in the February 1955 issue of Car Craft Magazine. The cover shows a great color photo of the supercharger. Using a GMC Supercharger, the Vic made a variety of changes to deal with issues related to the installation.
Is this some type of Hotchkiss prototype?
“1950 French Army jeep driving near Paris Press Photo 90

Having some alien spaceship blasting an old jeep indicates some type of perverse imagination.
I wonder how deep that river was?

I’ve never seen a jeep advertised as a lawn decoration (even a fake jeep).
“Homemade wooden 1940’s Jeep/Ford/Willy’s lawn decoration. Built approximately 2 years ago, it is displayed 3 times a year, Memorial day, Veterans day, and the 4th of July, the rest of the time it is garaged. It is approximately 8’L x 4’W x 53″H, it sits on 2 cut to fit trailer axles with 12″ wheels, it is wired with 7 fluorescent lights that are easily accessible, it is wired for 110vac and has an on/off switch and approximately 10′ of plug cord. This is a decoration, it is not powered to move, and has no steering mechanism’s, however, it is more than sturdy enough to support a couple of adults/children for photo’s, which it has been used for a lot. Only serious enquiry’s please, there is a lot of money in this decoration and the price is firm, I am only hoping to free up some space in my garage, I will really hate to see this go.”
This jeep has saluted a variety of veterans at their final resting place.

This has been modified a bunch, but those headlight trim bezels and the year made me wonder if there is a CJ-V35 in there somewhere.

“For sale is my 1955 Willy’s pick up. The transmission has the conversion for a chevy straight six. From my understanding this vehicle was running and driving with in the last decade. I have a good running engine for it that can be worked into the deal as well. The pick up has the PTO driven winch on the front bumper. I have the title for this pick up.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500
(10/19/2009) This jeep may be worth a closer look. The hood looks nice and tight against the grille. The steps have been customized.
“This jeep has been in my family for over thirty years. Nobody has time to restore it to driving condition, so it is time to part with it. Last time it was started up the engine ran great, but it has been sitting for a few years getting the body worked on. It is currently stripped down to bare metal and is ready for a new paint job. I have an extra set of tires, everything for a tune up, the soft top, extra gas can and other various parts. I purchased a new tailgate and hood a year or two ago but haven’t put them on yet.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(08/31/2013) This has a nice paint job at some point. Unclear just how much value is here.
“This is a Jeep CJ 3A which his in the restoration rebuild process. We started you finish. This vehicle has not been licensed since ’78 so there will be no record with the state. right now it sits with an in line 6 cyl. I think AMC engine? But not sure. It would require work to be useable but then you have a very unique Jeep. No title one can use it off road vehicle or apply for a bonded title.
Come and take it away.”
