“98% stock runs and drives no rust been in the family for 50 years 10000.00 or make a offer call if you would like more info or pics.”
Runs and drives. Listed as a 1952, I suspect the seller may have meant 1962, because it isn’t an early 3B.
“1952 Willys Jeep, 4wd, runs and drives!
Needs some rust repair and a paint job.
Comes with the doors and a closed in cab, the roof
This is a great jeep to restore or just run it like it is”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
Needs a little work of some kind, but runs and drives.
“Up for sale is my 1947 Willy’s CJ2a. It is awesome. Very fun, and my boys are going to be destroyed that we are letting it go. I have a ton of things on my plate at the moment, and the money could be used elsewhere. It has a clean title with Black and yellow California plates. It has a rare matching frame and body tags and number plates. It has the (more powerful and newer) F134 willy’s engine that runs great. Warn locking hubs, stock T90 transmission 3spd, full roll cage, front willy’s original seats, folding back seat with seat belts. It is a great jeep that ALWAYS gets thumbs ups and attention whenever we drive around town. Still some work to be done on it, but it can be enjoyed from day one. $3500 I don’t need to sell this so save the low ball offers. I won’t respond to them. Feel free to ask any questions.-Jeff”
UPDATE: This runs and drives. Was $1650. Status Unknown.
“Runs and drives and ready to restore or make it what you want. Asking 1950.00 OBO
All original, 4cyl, PTO winch. Some surface rust on frame and running gear but still a very solid Jeep. CJ6 is a rare slightly longer version of a CJ5. Some floorboard rust mainly on passenger side and cancer spots on body. No trades.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
“1945 Ford GPW Military Jeep similar to MB or Willys
This is a great old jeep and has lots of history. I purchased it 10 years ago from a man who got it from his uncle but had no interest. I drove this thing everywhere from the north coast, the central valley, foothills, to the Nevada desert… Just very slowly… And it turns heads everywhere I drive it!
I would love to see this GPW go to someone who is interested in restoring or at least leaving it in its semi-stock form. These rigs are becoming increasingly more difficult to find and this is a numbers matching GPW (frame, body, engine) that has a solid engine and decent body. It is certainly not perfect but also would not take much to turn it into a nice restoration or a fun weekend driver.
UPDATE: Price dropped to $7995

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
(03/04/2014) It looks like this has been jacked up or has an spring over mod.
“My Jeep is in fair condition for it’s age. I’m pretty sure the clutch went out the last time I drove it. It should start with a fresh battery. I had just spent over $2000 replacing the entire brake system. The Jeep has been sitting for about 2 years. The registration is current, I have the pink slip in my possession.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000
“1948 willys cj2a jeep

“Serial # 22947
Has original data plates. Engine was pulled by previous owner and in the bed of jeep. Body isn’t to bad but has some rust in the usual places spots. Has a dent in rear driver side corner. Missing the radiator. My plan was just to get it running and leave it as it was and use it around the farm. Will need complete restoration, could be used for parts or good base for a rock crawler. No title. Asking $600 obo.”
UPDATE: See all of April 18th’s activities here
We had a great day. There was Monopoly, Pez, Ramen with Dan, and sunset drinks at the Distillery in Moss Beach with my friend Jack. So, more on Friday’s adventure at some point Saturday. For now, I have this one pic. I don’t drink often, but when I do, it is a martini, next to a fire pit, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, as the sun sets. That’s a good way to end the day.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price
Looks solid.
“for sale all original except for paint 1960 willys pickup 62184 miles”
No pics provided.
“PTO to fit flat fender willys jeep, complete incls. output gear box, shaft, & in/out gear box that bolts to transfer case”
UPDATE: Price now $3950
“This is a very rare Willys, especially in 4WD!! It has been outfitted with a Chevy 307 V8 and TH400 automatic to the standard Dana/Spicer 18 transfer case. Axles are a conversion from original Dana 44 (5:38) to ’70 Wagoneer with “road gear” (3:54). This is a great little ’54 Willys Sedan Delivery project for someone with body shop experience! Three-quarter body sheet metal patch panels as seen on familiar Willys station wagons are readily available.”
<– Day 28 – Apr. 16th: Artichokes and Sushi Boats | OVERVIEW | Day 30-31 – Apr.18th-19th: Bay Area Fun –>
I had big plans for today — a trip out to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, a walk through downtown Santa Cruz, and an excursion to the Mysterious Mystery spot.
Alas, all that was put aside as I wore a path between the bed and the toilet. Was it the sushi or the artichokes? Who knows, but something didn’t agree with my stomach this morning.
I felt much better by the afternoon. We even made it to dinner the Santa Cruz Diner for dinner (though I had breakfast), which has appeared on a number of food shows.
Tomorrow, our plans to locate the worlds largest Monopoly board, visit the Pez Museum, and visit with Dan and see his Traveller will still occur.
One thing I did have time to do today was plot the remainder of our trip. The top is cut off, but I’ll provide that later on in the trip.

Jeepster Jim is driving across the southern portion of the USA. He left St. Augustine, Florida, April 6th and will arrive at Imperial Beach, California, April 24th. Learn all about it here:
I put together this map of their trip based on their itinerary. As of the 18th they ought to be near Tucson, AZ.
One of our stops will be in Georgetown, CA, to see the Jeep Jamboree hometown. I’m not quite sure if we’ll see much at all, but we’ll be close enough that I gotta go.
Here’s a Truck Trend article that includes a variety of vintage Jamboree jeeping photos. Most appear to be downloadable in high resolution, too.
http://www.trucktrend.com/features/consumer/163_1310_the_rubicon_trail/
Speaking of the Jamboree, Dirtxdirt.com has a good article about Jeep Jamboree founder Mark Smith and his collection of jeeps. http://dirtxdirt.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-mark-smith-collection-founder-of.html
This video link is included as well. Note that during the video Mark is mentioning his Bantam jeep, but the video shows a Ford GP.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
And it runs!
“1954 Willys Jeep 4X4 truck. “Super Hurricane” inline six. Runs drives and stops. Current registration. Rust holes in cab and bed. Some broken glass. The paint doesn’t look as good as the pictures. In Lompoc. If you are out of town trailer or tow it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
This might be a good price.
“1953 Willys CJ 3B, original drivetrain, runs and drives needs a little TLC and a windshield. Good solid original Willys getting hard to find, I have owed it for the past 30 years time to let someone else have fun with it.
