Thanks to James for spotting this one. It is just like my Kayline top.
“For sale is everything you need to enclose your CJ3A/M38 – Soft Top, Doors, Frame. The top was made by Kayline – Specialty Top Company. I had it on my Willys Jeep for a short period of time and stored it while I restored my 3A. Now that the restoration is done, I have decided to go with an original style canvas enclosure.
This top is SPICE / Tan in color – be different than all the other guys running Bestop black tops!
The windows are clear and are in great condition.
You won’t be disappointed!

Marc from South Africa continues to make some neat progress on his 1/2 Scale build. Thanks for assembling this synopsis!
Marc writes, “Let me start with where I am to as of 15 April 2014. Unfortunately all production stopped on this date. Until I have the full use of my left shoulder after some structural work carried out, hopefully the structures doc will me the go-ahead by end May.
I ended with the making up of the two panels/dash/fwd fire wall. Slightly different to the real thing here for the ease of making. In the end the upper cowl/dash assembly will look the part.
Thanks to Paul & Lyn: http://www.ewillys.com/2014/01/23/update-from-paul-on-his-stainless-flatties-progress/ for sending me additional measurements and confirming plenty of smaller details for me.
I did finish up the firewall but have not taken photos yet.
To jump about a bit heres the top bow corner brackets that were made up. Claus kindly measured up on his CJ-2A for me http://www.ewillys.com/2012/04/05/builds-claus-rebuilds-a-cj-2a-in-south-africa/.

Steve Elkins reports the following:
“In case you’re wondering what happened to that cute little Jeepster Firetruck some of us have been following on eWillys, it will soon be used as a vineyard tour Jeep at the Gandona Winery in California’s Napa Valley. After two little mechanical problems on the tow vehicle extending the 1100 mile adventure by two days, I was finally successful in transporting the red Jeepster from Southern California to the Wine Country, Northeast of San Francisco.
The seller had a change of plans and had to let go of the red Jeepster. The buyer is new to the Willys experience and is really excited about his new purchase. A new steering wheel, and re-chroming the front bumper is the first order of work to spiffy-up the 65 year old chariot, re-powered with a second generation Buick 231 c.i. V6 and automatic trans.
After seeing this on eWillys, I enjoyed connecting the seller and the buyer. And I made a new Jeepster connection with the seller. He has a nice ’50 Jeepster, daily driver with a rare optional L6-148. We might just see him at the Willys America Open House on July 19, 2014.”

“I have a Willys cj3a for sale. Its basically a bare frame with all the main body components. Tub, fenders, hood, grill, tailgate, windshield frame. Plus a couple extra parts like a gas tank, soft doors, and a seat. Also a couple extra body parts. The tub has some rust out in the floor pans but nothing too crazy. I lost interest in it and its just taking space in my garage. The title says it’s a cj2a but the fender wells are notched and it has a 3a windshield. I’d like to break even on it or at least come as close as possible. My name is Trevor, Call, text, email doesn’t matter to me.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2400
“This is 1944 Jeep from World War II made by Ford. In the pictures its the one that is green (red one sold long ago) It has the original drivetrain to include a GPW Ford engine, T84 trans and Ford Transfer case. Axles and steering are original. Windshield, bumperettes and many other parts are present. it’s a project that needs restoration. Engine and trans internals have been removed for inspection. Two engine connecting rods were removed for another engine. The block and trans case are usable. Trans and engine would need complete overhaul. Seats are not original to the jeep. Front frame horns will need repair. have aftermarket parts like bumper, fuel tank sump, hat channels etc that will go with it for free. Have an extra tub for parts if you want included for free. This jeep looks awesome in pictures but lots of bondo was used by someone. Lots of small misc parts and canvas for seats will go with this. Have bill of sale only. Will not part out sorry. Engine serial # is 92623, frame 248890, body 134777. Would consider trades for a WW2 1/2 ton chevy or dodge project worth the same or less.”
