Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It has 5 inch chop top,ford rear end out of 67 econoline van, Grill is from a 38 ford pickup truck, front clip is a 72 Chevy pickup. The trans is out of a 64 impala. 350 motor.channeled 11 inches in the back and six towards the front. Make me an offer. Honestly hope I don’t get any good ones so I don’t have to sell it. This has some old lettering. Unclear how much is left on the rest of the top. “Hi I’m selling my aluminum top it came on my jeep willys cj2a I’m not planning on plowing with it so I would like to either sell it or possible trade for a running drivetrain for a cj2a. The top is made by Sears and Roebuck it has a lift gate in the back needs windows for the doors or make some out of plexiglass. It has a very nice patina and a decal for old business in worchester mass this is a very cool unique piece. Won’t find to many like it. Even has the old style phone number on the door. I hate to get rid of it but could use the money or drivetrain to get my cj2a going”

body: in rough shape but it is not beyond restoration.
Title: clear title that is correct to this jeep.
Odometer: cant vouch for accuracy but it states apx 54xxx miles.”

(04/22/2014) Here’s an odd duck. Note the seller will thrown in the weight for only $100.
“For sale is a 1950 Jeep Willys truck with a snow plow and clear title. Registration was active until this spring and it has been used yearly for snow plowing. It runs and drives well, has a 72 horse power F motor with has a 3 speed with high/low 4 wheel drive. This Jeep started out as a farm implement and at some point in time it had the frame and body modified to accept the truck bed. The interior sports VW bucket seats. It will need brake work(currently very little brakes), exhaust, tires(have tread but very weather checked), has a bad spot on the ring gear, the windschield is cracked and it has rust. There are many directions that you could go with it from continueing to use it as a unique plow truck to making a 1 of a kind rat rod. It is being sold as is, needing repairs or for parts.”

“Jeep 4X4 for plowing snow, pushing dirt, or whatever. Buick V/6,3 speed, High/Low Range, lock outs. Body was replaced with a home made wood one, kinda neet. Has Top and Curtains, with plexiglass windows. Runs good, needs some tinkering and fine tuning on a few things. $ 1650 or trade for what have you? Rod 989 928 23 four one. Also have a Willys truck cab to go with it for another $ 150.”

This looks in good shape. The seller’s explanation for the left hand DJ-5C makes sense. Anyone know if that’s true?
“I have a very rare 1974 jeep DJ-5C. This is not a cut up postal jeep but built on the same platform. They only made 2000 of these passenger models with left hand drive not a right hand postal jeep. 3 seats with seat belts. Motor is a strait 6 3.8L with a automatic transmission. 4×2 . Runs excellent and shifts smooth. New army green paint. Come by and see at any time.
90k original miles. Good tires. Currently registered and no need for smog. I do have the front hitch to pull behind RV or truck”

“Very early 1946 production column shift 2A. Serial number is 19006. Clear title. Engine turns over, have not tried to start it. Damage on the right rear corner and rust on the right side. Has original rear drive pto and the original rear gear reduction flat belt pulley drive.”

“!!! VERY RARE 1961 JEEP WILLYS FC150 4×4!!! Great Project for any TRUE JEEP Lover. This is a 1961 Jeep Willys FC150 4×4. This is a flat nosied jeep that was used mostly up North and not in the Florida area. You would have a very hard time finding this truck in Florida. I bought it from the original owner and had to have it shipped from South Carolina. This is a great truck which turns heads every time I open the Garage. Truck RUNS but needs body work, good solid wood bed. I bought the truck to restore it but have not had the time to put into it. This would be a great Ratrod Truck or restoration project. If you are looking for that one of a kind truck that everyone asks “What Is That” this is the one.”
