Nice looking restoration. Here’s some information about the super jeep:
http://www.superjeep.com/Folklore/folklore.html
(Note, you might remember the old site as superjeep.info. Bruce updated that to superjeep.com)
“This is a very rare authentic 1973 Jeep CJ-5 “Super Jeep.” It has been meticulously restored to original specifications and details. It has its original factory issued 304 V8 with power steering and power brakes. These were rare options at the time this model was produced. Most of the Super Jeeps had 258 6 cylinder engines with manual steering and brakes. It was last registered and inspected in August of 2012 and still continues to run and drive great.
There is not a lot of information available on the Super Jeep other than the copies of a few articles written about them at the time, They were only manufactured for one year in 1973 and it is rumored that only a few hundred of the models were made.
Everything works besides the gas and oil pressure gauge. I’m not sure why but the previous owner reset the odometer during restoration so the actual mileage of the Jeep is unknown. Since the restoration, 420 miles have been put on it. The Jeep does not have a roof, and the original style white soft top is almost impossible to find. However, there are many aftermarket soft tops that can be fitted for this CJ-5.”
Nice 2A.
“1948 CJ2A Jeep for sale. My dad bought this jeep in 48 and I still have the “bill of sale” for it. It has 28xxx miles on it and the motor and drive train have not been worked on. “1948 Willys CJ2A. It was being done up to model a WWII Willys MB. It has a rebuilt T90 transmission and CJ2A engine but the tub is a MB tub. The tires are M151 tires. The motor is in great condition. The jeep did run and drive but the starter recently burned out. Has a brand new canvas top and original WWII MB grille . I was trying to convert this over to look like the WWII MB.
I don’t have anymore time to dedicate to the project so I am going to sell it. If you have any questions, please contact me. $6,000 OBO”
Includes a set of dual wheel adapters. Photos aren’t too helpful.
“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A with a rebuilt 1955 Chev V-8 engine, bored .030, only 5 miles on rebuild, also a one piece seat, electric fan and fuel pump, plus one wire alternator, winch on front, 20 gallon fuel tank, steel cab and dual wheel adapters, dual exhaust, heavy duty springs, 7:50-16 six ply tires, a steel plate protects the bottom for rough going.
I have owned it for 50 years but bad health now forces me to sell. It is in storage right now.
All offers will be considered.
I tried to get more pictures into this ad but for some reason I couldn’t, so interested parties will have to contact me for the rest of the pictures.”

Jeep was repainted sometime in the 80’s and has held up OK but has some surface rust, no holes in the body like most of the Jeeps out there. Note: the area near the driver side door opening is not rust, just a spot where the paint came off and is in primer.

(06/21/2014) Nice looking truck.
“This is a 1958 Willys truck that was built around 2001 it has a small block chevy engine, th350 automatic transmission, three link ladder bar rear end, mustang ll front suspension with power rack and pinion steering, aluminum tilt steering column, A/C, flowmaster exhaust, lokar shifter, new tires and wheels, and just too much to list here without forgetting something a serious buyer can call for more information. I drive the truck about once a week it runs and drives great and attracts a lot of attention. The paint cleans up real good as you can see but it is old and has scratches chips dings touch ups and imperfections and really could use a respray but it is a driver and not a perfect show truck. I do not need help selling the truck I am not desperate to sell the truck just looking to fund a new project. NO PAYPAL, NO TEXT, NO EMAIL, NO CHECKS, NO LOWBALLERS. If you are a serious potential buyer you can call me and make an offer or set an appointment to see it. 17,000 O.B.O.”

“Here is a running jeep. I have all the parts for it, I believe it was restored in 70’s and I’ve had it since since 1997. I had the transfer case and hubs rebuilt then. It has been on my 18 acre ranch and use only occasionally, but hardly ever the past 3 years. I’ve got an electric fuel pump but have the original. Needs a muffler, fuel pump and the generator rebuilt as well as the original gas tank. I do have the original but it’s all rusted out. It does have newer tires. It’s got some rust on the drivers side and about 6 coats of paint. I’ve been told it’s worth between 5 and 10K so I thought I’d start in the middle. I would like to take offers on it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200
