UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4800.
Listed as a 1945, I don’t see anything that would suggest it is that early.

Tim spotted this jeep for sale last weekend. As you can see in the photos, the body is a custom replacement body. Tim notes it looked well done. If you are interested in the jeep, leave a comment below and I’ll get you in contact with Tim.
It runs. Trailer NOT included.
“Runs, and I have driven it in low and high range. No brakes. Set-up to run off 12V but the 6V Generator is still there. None of the instruments work. The body is patch-repaired extensively on the driver/passenger cockpit, plus work done to rear side panels but the rear and tail gate are mostly original. Titled. Shown in the photos, but not included in the sale, are the spare tire tower, black-out light on the fender. The trailer is not included in the sale. Price is $2500, best offer, or interesting trades considered. “
Has some rust.
“Asking $300 or best offer for this 1960 Forward Control Jeep 150 BareCab. Windows are not included, some rust damage, has been cleaned and power washed. Contact me for more information.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
It’s got rusted front floors, but from the outside looks pretty good. Needs wiring and brakes, too.
“1954 Willys M38A1. Runs good. Still 24V and has two new batteries. Correct engine. Solid frame, nice restorable tub, correct front fenders, new repro gas tank. Five correct wheels. Correct front seats. Has rusted through front floors. Needs wiring and brakes. The jeep is sold as is, where is, with no warranty.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000
“I’m listing a friends Willy’s jeep for sale. It is original. It did run and has a brand new rebuilt generator and starter. Clutch is good and motor was re-installed about a year ago. Tires ok. It has a new soft top and many parts. It looks complete, just needs to be put back together. All paperwork is included for the title. Does not run right now, so you need to trailer out of my storage unit. “
No pics provided.
“The panel is stored in Challis, Idaho. Will email photos upon request.”

(05/31/2013) Lots of updates to this flattie. I’m not sure what the seller means by a “DBA” tub.
“This is a registered 1949 CJ2A but the tub is a DBA (No Tailgate)- Heavily modified but still a nice city driver. Stripped down to frame and powdercoated all body parts except tub(fenders/grill/hood/bezels windshield frame, all interior floor panel pieces)done by FRP customs, Body was a little rougher than wanted for powdercoat, no rust, completely stripped just didn’t want to bondo, painted flat hunter green uerathane. James forwarded this gem of an ad. Looks like there are military and civilian jeeps for sale here.
“I recently purchased an estate of Willy’s CJ Jeeps and Parts, and I think I am ready to see if anyone needs parts or project vehicles. Mostly vintage with many early Willy’s CJ2A’s in complete condition and various stages. I have tubs also, some even bead blasted and ready to go. Looks like a fair amount of CJ5 and possibly early CJ7 as well. Look at the photos, that will give you an idea, most of the vehicles with wheels have complete drive trains. There are many loose front ends, rear ends, transmissions, and engine parts, as well as body parts.”
UPDATE: Was $2000. **SOLD**
“This is a classic Willys jeep, ready for restoration. I am not sure if it runs, it has just been sitting. No title, just a bill of sale. ”
Lawrence, his whippets, his whippet and his FC made the Vancouver Sun on Friday. Alyn Edwards produced a great article about Lawrence. You can read the entire article online and see more facts here:

Ann and I and my boys are camping near Lake Stevens for a day and then will be up at Deception Pass for a couple days. I expect updates will be spotty, but I’ve got a few things to read for Sunday.
I authored an article for Mark Smith’s War Jeeps site on five major trips undertaken with a Ford GPA Seep. It was a fun article to write. During my research I learned that Helen Schreider is still alive and living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There’s a producer working on a film about her. The producer volunteered to ask her some questions I composed, but I’ve yet to hear back form them.
