Joe’s son-in-law drives a truck in New Jersey and forwarded this cool photo to Joe. You don’t see three jeeps on a trailer too often.

1945 GPW Glendale, AZ **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000
Runs and drives, but needs some TLC.
“For your consideration, a WW2 jeep, a Ford GPW, DOD 6/11/1945. This is a running vehicle, licensed and clear title, but needs some TLC, of course. It has matching serial numbers of engine, body, and frame. The engine is a recent rebuild with about 100 miles on it. The body is in fair shape and has many F marked parts. The bumper is not original and the rare crossmember is missing. It has been converted to 12 volt key start, and has an upgrade T-90 transmission. It has turn signals, hazards, seat belts, and an electric WS wiper for the driver side. It has aftermarket vinyl top and doors. The jeep has been outfitted with 11″ brakes and Rancho springs and shocks. There is a new master cylinder, new left wheel cylinder, new flexible left brake line. The fuel system has an original fuel tank, boiled out and relined, new fuel line with additional fuel filter inline, new fuel pump, rebuilt original Carter W-O carburetor. The air filter has been overhauled. The front seats are overstuffed naugahyde. It could probably use new tires soon. It can be a candidate for retro to original WW2 configuration, or continue with what you have. “

Gotta love the ‘disc’ brake on the driveshaft as the stopping power!

This would make a great hunting or ranch jeep.”

1959 CJ-5 Western UP, MI $5500
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5500.
(01/18/2014) I don’t often see a Capstan Winch on a CJ-5.
“Up for sale is a 1959 Willys Cj-5 with a rare Braden J-2 Capstan winch. The jeep runs and drives great but the brakes are inop. Trans/t-case are in working order. The engine starts right up and runs great with the exception of the exhaust needing to be replaced. The Capstan winch is complete and operates smoothly. The winch is correct for a WWII Willys Mb or Ford Gpw and would look great on your restoration. It can also be left on the Jeep like it is currently for that oopsy when you get stuck on the trail. I have a clear Michigan title. I also have many other Willys Jeeps and parts. E-mails will not be responded to. Please call (906) two eight seven fourteen hundred”
Tuesday July 28th & 29th — Pasco to Winthrop to Oroville
North Washington Trip | July 30th Oroville to Colville –>
MONDAY: Pasco to Winthrop We left Pasco at noon on Monday the 28th. It was already 100 degrees. It’s a good thing the jeep has air-conditioning! There was nothing particularly interesting (or I should say it’s a drive I’ve done often enough to be bored with it) until we reached Dry Falls State Park, which once was the site of the largest waterfall in the world. As you can see from the pics, the view is pretty good. They had some pretty good looking food, too. We had ice-cream. Continue reading
