UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
It runs.
“For sale is a good running Jeep CJ3B. The body has been patch paneled on the floor boards but is really solid overall. Has a brand new windshield frame but needs glass. The front seats are quite nice. The frame is very good and solid. Engine runs very well with good oil pressure and does not smoke. Tranny shifts very smoothly and the 4WD all works. Has premium lock out hubs. The head and tail lights work but no front turn signals. Overall a pretty solid jeep to use as is. This would also be a great candidate for a total restoration because it is pretty complete and has a really good frame.”
This appears ready for some jeeping.

“1952 Willys M-38 Jeep
I purchased this Willy’s about ten years ago with the intention of using it as the foundation for a rock buggy build. After learning more about it, how rare it is and the history that it represented I decided not to tear the fenders off four wheeling. I did all the work myself and restored it as best I could considering my ability and finances over the last decade. Its over 90% complete now but I just dont have the time to tinker on it anymore. I’d like for someone who appreciates really cool things to have it so they can continue putting it back together and enjoy it. When I got it the odometer said just over 7K miles ( still have original gauges to prove this) so I think its still got a lot of life left in it.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9000.

Starts runs , drives and stops as it should .Everything works as it should with no major issues .Any rust was removed and patched .It is not a show Jeep by any means but has incredible patina and as mentioned everything works and is ready to go as is. With all the equipment included with this 2A if it were restored it would be an excellent example of 48 2A I have seen Jeeps that were in horrible condition restored so I do think this one would be a great candidate ,or better yet hop in and use it like it is . Last time around I was asking $9500 OBO for jeep with everything The only thing not included this time is one set of dual wheel adapters and the rear PTO shield which I also kept for my column shift 2A .I have added the soft top and a bunch of extra parts this time around
This time around I will be taking the best offer on Jeep with everything and will even throw in an extra parts jeep 2a if the offer is close to what I know the jeep with all this equipment is worth . “I have a 1953 Willys M38A1 Military Jeep. It is complete and registered in California. I have the pink slip and you can drive it away. Brakes have been redone and a new high performance starter has been added. The 1953 Military Jeep has a few unique features including a tilting radiator support and a battery box with 8 thumb screws. A few safety features added including removable roll cage and seat belts. This jeep is mostly original condition and is a very fun vehicle. It was converted to 12 volt system. Don’t be fooled by people who claim they have a military jeep and it’s just a CJ with green paint. Has a few oil leaks but runs well. I am selling it for $5400 obo.”
