“You are looking at a 1952 M38A1 Willies Army Jeep. This jeep would be a great restoration project for some one looking to complete such a project. It is in actually really great condition, it starts and runs with no issues. The drive train is in fine shape and I have drove it many times on public roads. 4 wheel drive works perfectly and transmission has no issues with popping out of gear. The clutch has just been replaced so it is brand new. It is equipped with the original engine, it does probably need a rebuild as the jeep is a little smokey which tells me she is burning a little oil. However it does not seem to be leaking oil all over the ground.
Rust is there, I wont lie she is rusty, but it all for the most part is surface rust that can be removed by a good bead blast. There is no heavy deep rot settling into the frame or the body.
It has been converted to a 12 Volt system however there are still components of the 24 volt system still installed, like the head lights which I am pretty sure were the same ones that were on it the day it left the factory.
It has been repainted on multiple occasions however there are signs of the OD Military paint showing through in various parts under the hood in the engine compartment, body, and drive train. Although the unfortunate side is that all the original data plates have been lost or removed.
It has a clean title and is registered in the State of AZ, I would not recommend driving it home as the tires are around 22 years old and the brakes need some work. “

“I have a 1953 Willy’s Jeep it has a 3 speed manual and a 4 cyl. it is 4 Wheel Drive. It is original and sounds good it has a hard top and doors. “
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500
The winch set up is unusual. It looks like an electric motor has been modified to work with a pro or manual winch?
“1946 jeep willy. A beauty! Come take a look at her!!”
Looks like the grille has been pushed forward.
“1947 Willys jeep project car.
Runs but needs work. “
Motor runs, but needs some work. No title.
“1982 DJ5 mail jeep. Needs battery, trans pump seal, and rear driveshaft u joint. Engine runs fine. Definitely needs some TLC but it is a solid very rare project. No title but will provide full bill of sale.
Purchased as a project which was going to involve a drivetrain and suspension swap. Tons of room underneath for nearly any combo. Selling because I went a different direction with the project.”
It’s definitely a project.
“I have a Willys Jeep DJ-3A. This is a reasonably uncommon Jeep, made from roughly 1955-1964. It was originally equipped with an L134 engine and a column shifted three speed transmission and was only 2wd. These were made for postal delivery and small business delivery vehicles.
This one had been in a pole barn for 30 years. It’s well used and missing many of it’s core components. The engine, transmission and sliding doors are gone, along with many other smaller pieces.
To put this back together would require a complete restoration and that’s why it’s so cheap. I don’t have a title for this since it’s so old.”
No pics provided.
“1962 Willys CJ 3B, 4wd, hi-lo, 3 speed. Decent condition. I painted it with a brush and roller but it looks pretty good if you squint your eyes. It runs well and the only reason that I am going to sell is that I cannot get in. I am tall and it is small. It has an original period aluminum hard top with doors. I think it may be a Sears top.”
No pics provided.
“Barn fresh unrestored original with wam winch $1200.00 obo. Lost title”

Patrick put together this animated GIF which shows the different noses Brooks considered.

Got your 2015 Holy Toledo calendars yet? It got mine. You can get yours at http://norris-banonis.com/holy-toledo.html
Steve spotted this odd photo. My question is, did the jeep back into the wall and then get lifted up? Or did it somehow hit it from the outside?
“This lot is for two 5″x7″ black and white original photos of a Willys Jeep somehow attached to a barn door…not sure if this is intentional or by accident. Appears to be a 1957 Ford in the background. See photos for condition. Please be sure to view my other listings as well! Thank you for looking.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $400.
This appears to be a sign circa 1949, based on this post.

“I purchased this Toledo Built 1942 Willys CJ-2A several years ago with the intent to rebuild it. However, my eyes were bigger than my stomach, and after realizing the time and energy required for such an extensive rebuild (and getting married), I have decided to part with it. If you have any questions, please call or text. I would be happy to have you come and see it. All major components are present (Hood, Windshield, Tailgate, Fenders, Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, Axles, etc.) as well as four matching wheels (front wheel removed during initial attempt at disassembly) and ID plate. Somewhat flexible on price, I just want to make sure it’s used for a good purpose.”
MIght be some value here.
“1961 fc-170 shell. Has most parts just no title. Don’t have room or time for this project. Has I what believe is a dana 44 rear and 60 front axles. T98 4 speed transmission”
