Charles shared these photos from the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Antwerp (September 4, 1944). Obviously not all these are WWII jeeps, but it’s all for fun and remembrance 🙂

UPDATE: Was on eBay. **SOLD**
Apparently this photo of four soldiers and “Lady Blanch” was taken in England.
“WWII ORIGINAL 9X7 US ARMY SOLDIERS & JEEP WILLYS SLAT GRILL 1942 PICTURE
FIELD PHOTO MADE IN ENGLAND”
What i thought was interesting in this photo was the windshield marking. I’ve not encountered a white oval with writing like that.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
Cool letterhead.
“This is an Original Color Patriotic Letterhead dated 1942 Featuring a U S Army Jeep chasing Hitler, Mussolini and Tito Right off the map. Great item printed by “Copyright 1942 By Porto Server Chicago”. The 7” X 10 1/2” letter sheet is in excellent condition. This is one of a collection of WWII Patriotic Stationary items we have on auction at this time.”
UPDATE: Now on eBay. This was for sale in Parachute, Colorado, in May of 2014. The dash has no instruments. Instead, they’ve been planed on a console between the seats.

This list goes on!! This build has only 1000 miles of break in on it and is ready for anything. It has never seen the mud or the beach so keep it as a show Jeep investment or take it to the trails. Either way it is a sound investment and would cost 4 times the asking price to build!! Call today!!”
UPDATE: There was no price on this jeep. It sold right away.
Jim spotted this CJ-5 for sale. Looks pretty stock. The seller obviously covets minimalist ads, since there is not year, no price, and no description.
UPDATE: **SOLD* Was $6000.
Looks nice.
“1948 Willy’s Jeep, restored, 4×4, Buick V-6, 3 speed, new tires, new soft top, good condition.”

There are some interestin storage addons in the cab area. I wonder how you release the windshield with the thing on the dash covering the left windshield latch?
“1964 Willy’s jeep. Has a small block chevy v8 motor. Runs great. Manual trans, 4X4 High low. Has Overdrive. Pink in hand, registration up to date. “
Looks like there is some value. Seller would like to trade for a newer running jeep, which suggests an overestimation of the value. Obviously NOT a WWII jeep.
“his Jeep has all original parts all except the seats, the engine is a F-Head 134 Cub. Inch. with a 3 – speed manual Transmission.
The WWII jeep is a restoration project it is in good condition considering the age of the Jeep very little rust.
The jeep has an extra engine head and it also has two extra tires (all the tires need to be replaced)
I would like to sell it for cash although I would be interested in a newer running Jeep as a trade???
MAKE ME AN OFFER – $$ OR TRADE For an new running jeep??”
UPDATE: Still Available
“1954 Military jeep runs and drives in great condition for 60 year old jeep body has very little rust is garage kept.It was used be a fire dept for years that it is the reason for the yellow paint.”
How about this poster!
“13 x 18 inch original poster from the US Army Safety Program, printed in 1948. Folded in half as issued. VG condition. Shows a graphic jeep wreck.”
Yikes! Given the previous post, this photo seemed appropriate. No date on this photo, but the license plate would suggest this was post military.
“”Jeep that cracked up here” typed on back. Approximate Size: 3 5/8 x 2 3/8 in. [90 x 60 mm]”
No year for the negative of this jeep marked 20112942. The men seem to be enjoying themselves.
“For auction negative with view of soldier in a jeep, the auction is for negative not an actual photo, some wear marks on negative. Negative measures about 2 3/4 inches x 4 1/2 inches. Shipping is $2.32 to the USA or $6.55 for international shipping.”
UPDATE: Was $8000. **SOLD**
Good looking CJ-3B that sounds well-built for the roads and trails of the Northwest. I don’t know much about the motor though.

This one is worth a look. Lots of eyeballs watching this auction.
“I am relisting this Jeep with a Buy it Now instead of a reserve. There are 2 original Solid Rims and the original Axe holder which are now pictured and included in the sale. No Axe. Also I will ship the Jeep world wide. Cost to Europe is about $2500 For US buyers I can bring it into Washington State and you can take it from there. For all the on off I have dropped the price slightly also..
This is Willys MB120181… Original 1942 Slat Grill. The jeep is in excellent condition. Runs and drive perfectly. All Gauges and electrical work perfectly.
Motor is strong and runs as it should. Starts up all the time with no hesitation or problems. No Smoke ever. Rest of the drivetrain is perfect.
The body is totally rust free. The data plates are original and the chasis number matches the number plate on the left side frame bumper extension.
It was a full off body restoration. The engine was completely rebuilt and drivetrain also. The rear seat was not restored as it is the original seat and canvas from 1942
This is not a reproduction tub on this Jeep.. It was built/restored before tubs were available. I did confirm this with the past owner.. Panels and metal were used to repair any rust etc then”
Runs, but needs rear seal. No title.
“1963 or 1964 vin. number makes it either or. NO TITLE. All the normal spots that a FC170 rusts is rusted. Glass was good until lawn mower threw rock and cracked driver side window. I think the tranny is a T90 which works good along with the transfer case. The brake lines have been replaced, wheel cylinder have been rebuilt the master cylinder needs to be replaced or rebuilt. The motor is a flat head 6 continental it runs but the rear seal is out. Tires hold air but should be replaced. The plow pump works but needs a cable. This was a winter project but wife has other ideas.”

With a little bit of work it would be great for hunting thats what my grandpa used it for and he passed it along to me.
