“This FC 150 is in very good condition, especially for the age. The frame is excellent and the 4 cylinder motor ran well. I disassembled it to restore it but ran out of time. The stake body bed is in great condition with an electric dump mechanism. I have the tailgate for the truck also. I also have a plow frame for it. The 4 wheel drive is all there and works. The body is overall pretty good. The only bad part is the floors which will need some attention. It would be an easy fix as it is pretty flat and tacking in or screwing on a new piece of sheet metal is all it would take. The cab corners are nice and the gutter that runs along the roof is solid. The doors overall are in good condition. I don’t have the original seats for it unfortunately. The doghouse for the motor is in good shape. I have all the glass also. This is the shorter wheelbase truck (82″) and I’m told these trucks go ANYWHERE! You can put it back together and have some fun with it this summer or take your time and restore this collectible Jeep. The windshield did have a crack in it. Sold with a Bill of Sale. Serious inquiries only please.”

The Signal Corps photo from September 14, 1944, shows the first American jeep to cross the German frontier after blasting through the Siegfried line.
Experiences like the one shown in this June 30, 1944, photo must have been so surreal.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
” I have a Very Nice Early 1946 Willys Jeep, Model CJ2A, in what looks to be near complete original condition. The serial number is 19824, I have the key, but no title, many of these early ones were not titled. Mileage reads 66,523 and look at the dash, un-molested condition with beautiful gauges. 4-cyl engine spins as it should, needs a 6-volt battery and the starter & solenoid installed, other than that, all engine and drive train and exhaust looks intact, 3-speed. When I got this one it did not have a starter in it, the starter in the rear and solenoid are ones I had with other Jeeps, just did not have the time to install the starter. The tub on this jeep is in need of serious repair. I think with very little work you can be driving this one around, but the tub will have to be fixed up to drive seriously. Looks like a rear seat has been put in the passenger position. Comes with 5 original 16″ wheels, tires will need replaced to drive. Has all 3 of the nice dash tags and even the serial number tag on the dash. This jeep has just sat for almost 10 years and just needs massaged back into running condition. Just a great project jeep, will provide a Colorado bill of sale. Front end is in very nice condition, just needs a tub repair or replacement. I purchased 25 of these jeeps awhile ago from a collector and realize I cannot complete them all. I am only selling them because I need the money for my daughters college, please only bid or make an offer if you can pay promptly. Local pick-up and we are located in longmont, Colorado. I can help with loading if you want to schedule transport for the Jeep. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** For $840.
This body looks in pretty good shape. View all of the sellers jeeps on eBay
“I have a Very Nice Early 1946 Willys Jeep, Model CJ2A, Complete Original Body and Frame in Beautiful Condition. The patina is priceless, body is straight, great front end, engine compartment is nice, look at all the attachments around the tub, spare tire holder, gas can holder, shovel holder, etc. Only 2 rust spots on the floor of the tub, under the compartment as shown and a small spot on the passenger floor as shown. Look at the rat rod under dash heater, the dash in near mint and un-molested, great set of gauges. All 3 original dash tags with VIN. Just a beauty of an original CJ2A body and frame.. The serial number is 18639, has all 3 dash tags with the VIN and 2 tags under the hood with the VIN. There is one last weld to make on the front frame tube as shown. Body is solid and attached to the frame. I purchased 25 of these jeeps awhile ago from a collector and realize I cannot complete them all. I am only selling them because I need the money for my daughters college, please only bid or make an offer if you can pay promptly.

This truck has a few unusual features.
“Looking to sale or trade my 1947 willy for a 4×4 Chevy SUV or 4door truck really looking for a 2001 or newer but let me know what you have to trade the worst I can say is no, just looking to see what is out there but needs to be a 4×4 an able to pull a trailer. I’m not a mechanic so here is what I know about the Willy’s is a 4×4 with a 3 speed on the floor it sits on a 70’s wagoner frame with a 360 AMC rebel 8cyl runs and drives good. Has bran new Michelin tires and is ready for the car cruise on Saturday, may not be a hot rod but it is an awesome and unique rat rod that you can drive.”
