“Binder holes incursion at the margin. 10×13 page”
Listed as a 1950s items, I suspect this was produced in the 1960s in conjunction with the Jeepster Commando.
UPDATE: Status Unknown.
Robin spotted this jeep for the jeep collector with almost everything.
“Original Item: Only One Available. The Ford GPA ‘Seep’ (Seagoing Jeep) was an amphibious version of the WWII Ford GPW Jeep. Only 12,778 were ever produced making this one of the most rare military vehicles in existence today.
This particular example was awarded the highest-level GOLD AWARD with a rating of 99.007% at the 2011 MVPA (Military Vehicle Preservation Association) National Convention in Dayton Ohio, making this the finest GPA in existence on earth.
It has been restored to 100% original factory unissued parts in exacting detail. It runs flawlessly both on land and in water and will be the focal point of any collection. The Jeep has all matching serial numbers (#22741) and was delivered to the Army on 11/4/1942. It was found, rebuilt and restored by former president of the MVPA, master restorer David Welch owner of Ramshorn Creek Restorations. It has no equal and should actually be in the Smithsonian (if they didn’t already have one, still ours is better!).
This GPA has clear title and is currently registered in the state of New Jersey as an antique. It is 100% street legal and transferable. Transportation within the continental USA is included in the purchase price. Overseas customers must contact us for a quote.”

“1955 Willy’s Wagon, runs, drives, fresh glass, new tires, new clutch, fresh carburator rebuild, etc. Many items recently rebuilt or serviced. Original 4 cyl Willy’s engine and 3 speed manual transmission working excellent.
Beautiful original type wood strips in the cargo area. Rear seat removes in seconds.
Spare parts included as shown. The hard stuff is done, a few minor items like headliner, finishing rear seat upholstry (new vinyl there, just not finished) and getting the heater working remain. Finding a few trim strips remain as well. I bought it late summer to use for marketing a business, have decided not to do so, so it is available.

MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer a very rarely seen, very unique 1963 Jeep FC150 Cab Over Engine. FC150 stands for “Forward Control,” which is often referred to as a “cab-over” and the model used a slightly wider chassis and wheelbase of the CJ-5. This particular example is equipped with an upgraded V6 engine, 4×4 and was totally restored in the recent past and looks absolutely wonderful! This Jeep almost looks quirky and is sure to demand attention anywhere it may go!
The body of this neat, little truck is in great shape while being very sound. The truck has a large stake-bed, complete with a “wood” floor that looks great. The body is painted with a bright red paint that looks awesome. The paint shows very well, showing only minor imperfections. There is a little bit of chrome on the truck and it all shines brilliantly! Overall, this is an awesome truck capable of driving on the streets or tearing up some logging trail or power line backwoods!
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500
“**This Jeep WILL BE SOLD by Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014 to the person making the best offer. If interested, DON’T DELAY!! Cash only. Buyer responsible for transport.**
Clean title but havent been able to locate it just yet. Hoping to find it today. Unsure of year model. Had to put one down to post listing so 1950 is a guess. Was unaware of the location of the vin# when pics were taken but will add info as soon as possible. Has been sitting for about 9 years but was running when it was parked. Tires are inflated now and seem to be holding air. Top (soft) is not in good condition. Seat covers appear to be original and are in very good shape. There is part of a seam that needs to be restitched. Email questions or text for a callback. Thanks!”
Only one pics. Sounds like one is a slat MB.

Mike’s selling his project. The hardtop is unusual.
“For Sale a project I have lost interest in. I have a 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A body/tub, front fenders, hood, grill and aluminum hardtop too…then I also have a brand new 2×4 steel tube frame, and running gear from a 1985 CJ7, 2.5 motor, D300 transfer case, front end, rear end, radiator, hanging pedals too, I just picked up a T5 5 speed transmission, a T18 Ford truck trans, and also the original T90 that went with the Willys originally. (Apparently not all the glitches are gone as I just had trouble re-logging into eWillys)
Some days just don’t go like I plan them. After being busy early this week with doctor appointments (for Ann), bread baking, and ewillys updating, I had set aside Friday morning to work on my next book.
But, life had other plans. First, Thursday’s night’s turkey (or maybe the glass of rum I had) upset my stomach, so I didn’t sleep well Thursday night. Then, at 9am while laying blissfully in bed with Ann, I received a call from Hobeken, New Jersey. I rarely receive calls anymore, let alone from numbers unknown. I told my wife that if there’s a message, it’s a bad sign.
There was a message. It was a bad sign.
A reader named Adam left a message informing me the site was down (and I do appreciate the message!). He noted that ewillys was defaulting to a domain renewal site. A few minutes later I got a follow up call and message from Roger in Ohio. Yep, there was definitely a problem.
After a few god-damnitts (not for the calls, but for the problem), I climbed out of bed and sat down at my computer desk. Only partly awake, I stared at the screen thinking ‘what do I do now‘? I was not quite firing on all cylinders (if any). I pulled up eWillys. Sure enough, even in my half-awake state I could see that the wrong page appeared.
What was truly puzzling was that I HAD renewed eWillys.com eight days ago to avoid this very problem. To get to the bottom of it, I called the 1-800 number of the company (Midphase) that hosts my domain name (different than my web host). To my disbelief, I encountered three straight advertisements that required me to ‘exit’ the ads by clicking on the ‘star’ button of my phone. Worse, after the third ad I was redirected to Verizon (my phone provider). What the hell? I was really pissed.
So, I jumped back online. I entered a dizzying array of usernames and passwords before I remembered how to access my domain name management screen. I opened the billing section and saw that I had intact renewed my domain name. To get to the bottom of it, I entered an online help chat with a customer service support person who informed me I hadn’t renewed my domain name. But, yes I had, I wrote, and the evidence is on my billing statement!
The support person responded by exiting the chat and sending me to billing. Next thing I knew I was online chatting with a billing customer person. That person claimed I also hadn’t renewed my domain name. Again I wrote, But, yes I did and the evidence is on my billing statement!
She put me on hold so she could do research. A few minutes later she came back and told me that yes, I had renewed. They (who this mysterious they is remains a mystery) just hadn’t updated the domain name. She then apologized and said I’d have to wait a few hours for the domain name to propagate. I told her that wasn’t good enough. I wanted to know why it happened so that it wouldn’t happen next time. She responded that it could have happened for a variety of reasons. I asked how we keep this from happening next year. She offered to inform the admins of the problem . . . yeah, some admin at another location is going to listen to a call center person tell them they screwed up … I was not happy.
At this point I tried reaching through the screen to choke the person on the other end, but my hand bounced off my screen. To protect myself from virtually assaulting anyone, I left the chat room.
So, sorry for the drop in service Friday morning. While the domain seems to be fixed now, my faith Midphase’s domain service is most definitely broken.
This popped up on Facebook last night. It is a fun old jeeping video to watch of the 16th Annual Rubicon Trail Jeepers Jamboree.
I found two Forward Control photos in the Chicago Tribune archives.
1) This is from December 5, 1956:
2) This is from January 5, 1958:
This model jeep made from wood has some good touches.
