Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “fully restored frame off 1946 Willys CJ 2a . two year old restoration. runs excellent. did a week off roading thru colorado mountains and it performed flaulessly. converted to 12V. added a new best top, heater, cigarette lighter to charge cell phones, electric window wipers, you wont find a cleaner CJ2a. asking what i have in it.”

4 wheel drive works.
Soft top is very new and fits nice. Have soft doors but they need to be mounted.
It already has collector plates so no need for tabs ever again(it’s licensed as a horseless buggy)
It’s a fun jeep, extremely capable in 4wheel low and hilariously gutless in 2high but that’s honestly part of the fun and it’s only sixty horse power. I didn’t think I would get as much atention as I do when I’m driving it but people really like these old jeeps. Runs really good.”

Here’s a good photo of the rear of a truck ready for service station duties. This was published in the May 1955 issue of Willys News.
A rainy/muddy day helped sell the benefits of this DJ-3A Dispatcher.

Frame Number: GPW 125688
Engine Number: GPW 12309
This GPW runs, drives and stops. And has many “F” marked parts on it. It is using a Willys head on the GPW block. You do not find a matching number frame and block like this jeep. Has lock out hubs on the front axle for smother driving.”

I was trying to unlock the motor n seen the cylinder wall is cracked so it will need a engine or sbc 350 swap or Buick v6 I’ve seen on the Internet that’s what they do as a substitute.
All the original engine parts are accounted for on the table along with a fuel cell
The tow bar takes a 2 in tow ball and the tires hold air
I wanted to make a project out of it but have decided to cash out.”
