Joe just picked up this rare Topeka Highway Mower last month. Joe would love to find a soft door setup like is shown on this Topeka.
Topeka like these were assembled with jeep parts. I’ve updated the Topeka Mower info.

Marc found this great photo of jeeps positioned outside Weatherby’s sporting goods. The jeep on the left appears to be a GPW, while the one on the right is a CJ-2A. It was posted at the gentlemen’s sporting club. There is more history about the Weatherby’s, sporting goods, safaris, and rifles, but I’ll have to save that research for later.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Marc spotted this one. We’ve seen the photo, but his is an original press photo that includes a caption.
“1945 Press Photo Willys-Overland Motors Postwar Jeep Used as Paint Sprayer”
Maury spotted this ad showing a famous shot of a slat grille charging over a hill.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
Looks like the pair is priced at $3500. The 2A runs and the 3A doesn’t.
“I have two complete Jeep’s for sale. I would like to sell these as a pair. They are both partially restored and have new tires etc… I drove the 1947 quite a bit this summer, it ran great. Has been sitting in my shop the last couple of months and the last time I tried to start it, it would run for a while then die. I think the carb needs cleaned. The 1953 is complete but the engine is disassembled. They would be fun to tinker with this winter.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500.
“This is a 1954 Jeep Willys with all original parts and equipment.
It starts and drives good, and the 4×4, four wheel drive works good. It takes a lot to get it stuck. It has a hard top that can be removed. It has a strong running Continental engine. It even has a snow plow that was mounted on the front if you want to play with it.
The plow is raised by an electric winch. This has been kept as mainly a “toy to play with”
This is a CJ 2 or CJ 3 I think grandad said. It is one of the original Jeeps before they became the “wrangler””
UPDATE: Was $12,000. **Status Unknown**
Looks parade ready.
“What you are looking at is a motor pool restored 1950 Willys M38 Jeep. This Jeep is very original will nearly every part from the day it was built by Willys. This was a frame off restoration. Clear title. Ready to go anywhere.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Runs and drives, but has tranny noise.
“I have a 50 willy jeep flat fender, with a ford V8 motor, it has power steering and power brakes, It has a 3 speed trans with a T 18 transfer case, it has two gas tanks, it also has a winch on the front. It has a roll bar and a full bench seat with good upholstery. It does not have a back seat. The motor runs good, but the trans makes a lot of noise in 2nd and third gears. I have another 3 speed trans for it. I have a clean Nevada title for it The windshield is cracked and dirty and there is some rust in the usual places.I am only asking $1500 for the jeep as it does need some tlc, but it does run and you can drive it home if you don’t live to far from Carson City. Larry Will trade for a suzuki sidekick, or Geo Tracker, or a Suzuki Samurai or 1973 Jeepster Larry Thanks for looking”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6500.
The flames and angular rear wheel well give this a different look.

(09/24/2014) Is that a small winch on the front passenger side frame rail?
“I’m selling my basically stock 1948 willys cj-2A.
Original flathead engine rebuilt 2000 miles ago.
Originally axles
4 wheel drive works.
Soft top is very new and fits nice. Have soft doors but they need to be mounted.
It already has collector plates so no need for tabs ever again(it’s licensed as a horseless buggy)
It’s a fun jeep, extremely capable in 4wheel low and hilariously gutless in 2high but that’s honestly part of the fun and it’s only sixty horse power. I didn’t think I would get as much atention as I do when I’m driving it but people really like these old jeeps. Runs really good.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(09/10/2014) Needs some work on the rear.

“This is an original press photo. The New Jeep Station Wagon by Willys-Overland MotorsPhoto measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 07-23-1946.”
