“1959 Willys CJ5 Jeep
Chevy 283 (rebuilt 2007) 2bbl Rochester carb
T90 transmission
Dana 18 T/C with warn all-gear overdrive
Dana 44 rear (5.38) with stock drums, limited slip
Dana 25 front (5.38) with 11″ disk conversion
Manual steering, Saginaw conversion with cross-over steering
Manual brakes, dual reservoir conversion
Electric push fan on radiator (engine mounted fan as well)
Electronic ignition (no points or condenser)
Tow bar included
Drives great on the light trails and street. Most of the drive train and engine was rebuilt by previous owner (engine in 2007). VIN # matches on tub and frame. Current CA registration. Tires are in great shape. Most of the core mechanical work you would want to do to a Jeep of this era has been completed. The overdrive, Saginaw steering conversion, disc brake conversion and rebuilt motor are worth close to $3,000. Great starting point for a restoration!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
Mostly, but not completely, stock.
“I have 1947 willys jeep for sale. Completely stock!!!! It has the original flat head four cylinder in it. The jeep runs and drives good. The four wheel drive works. This jeep has absolutely no rust. The only thing this jeep has ever been used for was elk hunting. Other than it has been keep in a barn. Out of the whether. Even the original heater in it works awesome.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
This has been stretched 13.5″.
“Interesting little Jeep. At some point someone took the 1957 Jeep Willys body from the frame. They cut and extended the body by 13.5 inches right in the middle of the door frame. They sprayed the under body with a rust inhibitor and dropped the body on a late 80’s CJ-7 frame. The AMC straight 6, transmission, axles and etc are all original to the CJ-7 (as far as I know). Registered as a 57 Willys.
I take it out around town twice a month or so. Good BF Good All Terrains on it. Wanted to tinker with it but don’t have much time or expertise. Now have #2 baby on the way. Make me an offer also interested in a trade for a side by side, 4 wheeler, or bumper pull trailer.
Let me know if you have any questions. I’ll try to answer any questions to the best of my rookie knowledge.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5800
The front of this has been extended. It will require a custom hood.
“We have a ’47 CJ-2 “Super Jeep” getting ready for the off road or street life. The lack of a battery cowl lid suggests it has a replacement body.
“1946 Willy’s jeep project. Good start to a cool jeep project. Has hard top, doors, rear door basically all body panels and running gear. And title. ”
Bob Christy has got this for sale on eBay.
“This is the head from a World War II ford GPW jeep. This will fit a willys jeep flathead motor but is made and stamped for the ford version of the Willys mb jeep. It is an “F” script marked part. The casting number is GPW 6050.
This head has been stored for about 30 years in a building. I cleaned it up a bit, took the plugs out of it. Other than that I know nothing about this head, other than it goes on a gpw. The spark plug holes are nice and clean and the gasket surface looks to be in good shape with no pitting or anything. It does not appear to have any cracks or anything but should be checked thoroughly before being installed on your jeep.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
(12/24/2014) Runs and drives.

Not totally original, but looks like a solid parade jeep.
“This is a 1944 Willys MB that saw service in Europe from 1944 through 1945; was sold surplus following the war; current owner bought the jeep in Germany in 1987 and returned the jeep to Baltimore in 1989. Jeep is in perfect running condition, has no rust, and has original seats and canvas top; engine is not the original but is a 1945 original Willys engine. Original transmission, transfer case, and axles however. Has been converted to 12-volt and has a non-original electrical wiring harness. This jeep could be fully restored to show condition or used as-is. Given olive drab coat of paint with World War II markings in 2000.”
