“This is a rare, 1958 FC150 narrow track. It is in very good condition, being 95% complete and original. Odometer reading indicates just under 8K original miles. Body is solid with a few minor dents. F-head engine had the head removed and replaced by previous owner, with reassembly about 80% complete, and as such it is not running. This is a great vehicle for someone looking to do an original restoration since the vehicle is so complete.”

“For sale the ultimate early CJ5, CJ6, CJ2, commando and CJ3B combo an upgraded t90 transmission with a twin stick dana/ spicer transfer case, with a warn overdrive and a Ramsey pto . Also included are the parts to remove the pto. This is a great setup and was fully functional when removed. The guy I bought it from was doing a diesel swap in his cj6 and couldn’t use this setup. I was going to use the transfer case and overdrive in my cj5 but it turns out the t14 trans I have has a different spline count so I can’t use it. Looking to get 1000 obo or trade for a warn overdrive for a t14/ dana 18 or let me know what you have. This is a good price as the warn overdrive alone is new over a 1000 and 700+- used”

Original motor that runs. I also have a spare motor that I bought just to have for parts if I ever needed them. This was a project that I just don’t have time for anymore. I was converting it into a mobile snow cone truck. It is not 100% completed. The air ride on the front will need to me completed. I have 35×12.50×20 mud tires on it with 20×9 Moto Metal wheels. Just one post this morning. Ann was sitting in bed relaxing yesterday afternoon when she positioned her knee just right … or just wrong would be more accurate. It caused her knee cap to shift sideways. It happens once a year or so. She had to take a muscle relaxer to deal with the pain, so I spent last night taking care of her.
On the plus side, Marty Tilford and other racers from the Pacific Northwest Four Wheel Drive Association had a good time at the Tacoma Dome this past weekend competing in a series of barrel races. They lined up all their jeeps and took a photo for us. Yep, I am sure it was just for us!
Most of these are WWII pics, though there is a Tour De France (or similar bike race) photo in the mix.
John Escobar bought a few FCs last month. He recently acquired a few more through a trade. He writes, “I got the Bug! Just traded a Snowmobile I had for three fc’s and flatfender jeep ! he collection goes on! The one fc 170 is real nice and originally from Washington State. Was used n the area as a water truck. (government owned ) Parts will be for sale this spring. Can’t wait to get started on them. Spring can’t come fast enough!”

“I am selling my 1974 Right Hand Drive DJ5 Jeep. I bought it to deliver mail but never got to use it as my route assignment got changed. It drives like a champ! It is automatic transmission with manual steering. It has a brand new engine (6 cyl AMC 232) and transmission(727-TF). The body has a little surface rust but nothing is rusted through. It has a spare tire and several other extra parts that were given to me when I bought it. Like a brand new in the box set of brake shoes. It has good tires! I have a clear title. It is Texas registered and inspected thru March 2015. It has a radio and speakers. Seat is in good shape with no holes or tears and comes with a mail tray that you could remove and replace with a passenger seat.”

“Great little Jeep that is equally at home off road as it is at a car show. Can be flat towed easily behind an RV. Runs excellent and 4×4 works great. Largely original with only significant modification being an upgrade from 6 volt to 12 volt. All five tires are brand new. Has military rifle holder between seats. Currently registered and insured and street driven. Gets tons of smiles and thumbs up driving around on the street. Has a good Arizona title. “1948 CJ2A. 2 inch lift, with 31″ TSL bias ply Swampers. Front disc brakes, power steering, lockers front and rear. Full roll cage, 4 point seat belts up front. Engine rebuilt 2 years ago. Hardened valve seats added. Also rebuilt the transmission and put in new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. Rebuilt front end with new bearings, races, seals, discs, pads, and calipers. Rear end just rebuilt. $7000 or offer.”

(12/06/2014) It might be worth a look.
“My ’54 is numbers-matching and pretty much all original from stem to stern. It has 66764 miles and has spent all it’s life in Montana and Oregon. It has been driven a mere 1800 miles since 1993. It is equipped with a Koenig Model 330 all-steel cab and Koenig PTO King Winch Model 151J (the PTO is not connected for some reason). And it has a HEATER!!
The engine runs well. 6V battery is new. Clutch, exhaust, shocks, tires, and brakes have low miles on them– however due to lack of use the brakes need some attention. I added fluid and replaced both front brake hoses– and then the weather hit and I set the project aside. Lights also want a little help. Gauges mostly work. One broken piece of (flat) cab glass left-rear.
The Jeep was originally red. At some point it was re-painted red by hand and has great patina. Yes, there is rust– but I’m going to call it ‘average’. Oregon title is clean.
I can send pix– but come take a look! I’m just west of Pilot Butte….”
