“My wife and I bought this 1950’s Jeep Wagon last year with the intention of wrapping it with vinyl for advertisement. The guy we bought it from told us we only had to do a couple of things. We messed up and got in way over our heads. He did not do the steering correct so it needs a Steering Kit. It was been put on an S-10 chassis or so we were told. It has an engine, transmission, 4-barrel carb. It starts and seems to run well. We are in it twice what we are asking this by our own ignorance. If interested, please do not hesitate to contact us. We can tell you all about it. We have all the frames for the windows and door handles.”

“1948 Willys two wheel drive pick-up. Pictures show where I picked it up a couple years ago after it had been found sitting for 30 years. I purchased it from the estate of the original owner. We have cleaned it up a bit, and removed some of the small parts anticipating that we would restore it, but we have changed minds and are going a different direction. Original engine is in it….we have not tried to fire it up. Body is in pretty good shape. This will be really nice when fixed up, or easily converted to four wheel drive. More pictures available upon request. Asking $1500 OBO. Open to offers, and may even consider some trades….no junk though.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $4000.

This is a time capsule, stored for more than 35+ years, expect scratches here and there, rust is minute, largest area is about a quarter in size on the rear left side near the spare, nice camper which needs the 2 glasses (windows) that go each on each door, it has the original exhaust system but need minor TLC at the end of the pipe, Thank You.”
Buz shared this unique story of Keith’s Adams’ trek across Australia in an extra-ordinary 1948 Buick Sedan. Keith and his family filmed their adventure in color. It looks like an interesting story.

At one spot the family encountered a modified MB/GPW that looks pretty dead:
Alex’s friend took this photo of a M-201 Hotchkiss. There are about ten of these in Tahiti that are leftover from the French nuclear test period. Only one or two are in running condition.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
Has the area by the driver’s side step altered, but that’s no big deal. Looks like a good price. Possibly a former column shift?
“1946 Willy’s 4×4 Jeep. She runs but is old and tired. It was a barn find that I originally put a lot of tlc and money into but have gone on to other interests. So far, I have changed the gas tank, gages, head, fuel pump, carburetor, converted it to a 12v system, along with many other items to get it running and to restore the engine to its original state. The brakes are mush so it still needs some tlc. It’s been sitting for the last couple of years and I no longer have time for it. It looks like it was originally a column shift but has sometime along the way been converted to a floor shift. Please feel free to call if you have any questions.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $16,000.
“Restored hyd clutch / power steering power brake / new lines spray in bed liner no rust new paint powder coated frame rebuilt transmission rebuilt transfercase . Nice 20k nego or welcome trades”
