The body is off right now but can easily be put back on but does need work this is a project vehicle. I do have a title from previous seller”
Someone was looking for rims like these yesterday.

(02/11/2015) Needs a little work.
“I am selling my 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A. The jeep can sit for months and fire right up. Clear title. Several items have been replaced. Clutch, battery, fuel cell. The master cylinder does leak and will need replacing. The jeep is pretty solid for a 68 year old vehicle, does have some rust on the Hat Channel under the tub. ”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(01/23/2015) Looks nice.
“Very Sharp Looking 1961 Willys Jeep CJ-3b Garage Kept. Winch on front bumper. Soft top. Runs good. Call or text for more information. Can arrange for shipment to you.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $15,000
(01/15/2015) Looks solid.
“1955 Korean War M38A1 Willy’s Jeep that is in excellent condition. I have receipts, work order, maintenance logs going back nearly 20 years. This jeep has had a lot of time, effort and money invested into it over the years including a full engine overhaul (at a cost of nearly 3.5K– nothing was skimped. Vehicle has approx 2700 miles since engine overhaul. I currently drive the jeep when weather permits in parades and military funerals. The paint is from Quantico U.S. Marine Base and is Marine Chemical Resistant paint approximately 8 years old. Every thing works on the jeep. Gages, horn, lights and has new spark plugs, wires, new radiator and has a very hard to find military antenna. This is a 24 volt system that has 2 new military batteries. This is not a frame off restoration but everything else is 100 percent. All new canvas on seats and top. There is an AM/FM/CD radio
with 9″ speakers mounted in two ammo cans in the rear of the jeep. Five new military tires and tubes”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
This May 1942 Junior Scholastic magazine had a Ford GP on the cover.
“Junior Scholastic magazine for school kids. Week of April 27-May 2 1942 issue.
16 pages. A little larger than 8 inches x 11 inches.
World War II era article about the modern mechanized cavalry charging into battle on motorized vehicles, motorcycles (like the Harley-Davidson WLA), and even horses still.
Complete. Clean pages. No water damage. No creases. Normal amount of age-browning to the paper. Considering the newspaper-quality wartime paper used, this magazine is in remarkably nice condition after 70 plus years. There’s some minimal red marking here and there. The delicate folded, stapled-binding has a small amount of separation along the top and bottom edges, but is holding together well.”
Probably not many of these left in the world.
“This auction is for a vintage wooden Jeep puzzle/toy. It comes in its original box with a parts diagram. Made in Japan, probably 1950s or 60s. In new condition, never played with. 5 1/2″ L x 2 1/2″ W x 2 3/4″ H.”
That’s an interesting carrier.
“Jeep CJ-3B Willys 1953, all original, runs great, Werner hubs, Werner winch 8,000lbs, roll bar, canoe rack, tow bar”
This may be worth a look.
“1947 jeep cj2a with title in hand and current registration. It runs well, has a 225 odd-fire v6 and granny 4 speed trans, power steering, and roll bar. asking 3500 obo”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $9500.
It’s supposed to have the Willys frame.
“Runs and drives very well with original combat wheels and new tires. This is the rare model with a Willys frame. Here’s a chance to own a rare WWII combat vehicle used by the Army, Marines, Navy and US Air Force or Air Corps during the war.”
Runs and drives.
“1948 Military looking Willys CJ-2A and M416 military 1/4 ton trailer. Jeep is registered and street legal. Have owned this Jeep since 1998. GREAT hunting or ranch vehicle. All new brakes, drums, wheel cylinders, brake lines, master cylinder, axle bearings and oil seals…less than 10 miles on them. Many newer parts. “F” Head 134 CI 4 cyl engine, T-90 3 spd transmission. 12 volt. Has heater. 5 newer military NDT tires. Priced for imediate sale. Will entertain offers. Serious inquiries only please.”
UPDATE: Was $2500. **SOLD**
The hardtop looks good and includes a soft top, too.
“This jeep needs total restoration but comes with some rare parts, factory aluminum hardtop, doors, and windshield frames for both soft and hardtop. It has a 4cyl overhead valve that is seized and comes with 10″ aluminum wheels with 33-12.5 tires. Call before 8pm please. thanks”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
There seems to be value here. Rims, tires and hubs look good.
“Bought this Jeep for a fun project to restore but now have medical bills and need to let it go. Engine is a newer Buick (I think 1986) has about 50K miles, rebuilt carburetor. Needs work to be road ready. See pics and call to make appointment to check it out.”
Sellers has done some work.
“For sale is a true Army jeep, not a cj that has a coat of od green. I have a Wisconsin title in my name with the military vin. It has been converted to 12v, and still has all the blackout lights and switches. The tub is fairly solid, not perfect, but a great start. I put all new axle bearings, seals, wheel cylinders, brake shoes and lines, as I started restoring it from the bottom up. It has a buick v6 with a twin stick. Has bumperetts, pintle hitch, jerry can and holder, spare tire carrier, canvas loops, lifting shackels and brackets, and many more expensive and rare hard to find parts. It also has the fold down grill, so it must be an early 53.”
This isn’t too far from me.
“48 willys all original. motor bad. complete. parts or restore.”
There could be some value here.
“I was going to do a frame swap on this Willys, but was advised by Willys “Officianados” not to do it because of it’s year; 1949 was the last year for this style…rounded rear wheel wheels. I had already begun dismantling it, so stopped, and that’s the way its been sitting for several years (inside). I won’t be getting around to it, so it’s for sell.
The F134 motor is locked up, but there’s a running one on CL for $300. 4WD, floor shift. It’s all there, but needs some work.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
No obvious rust, but the rear of the body has been changed slightly for some reason.
“’51 willy’s panel project, have all sheet metal, needs motor and tranny, collector plates and clear title. $1500 OBO”
This body is worth a look.
“1948 willys cj2a jeep body also have a suzuki samurai frame go with it. $1000 for body or $1300 for frame and body. Willys has a good title just waiting to get it back from Frankfort so it will be in my name. ”
Seller notes there is a ‘set’, but no word whether there is four or five.
“Old school aluminum hurricane rims. Came off 1978 F150 4×4. We will sell as a complete set only.”
The body has a metal dash added to it.
“Fiberglass tub with metal dash, metal fenders, hood, grill, windshield frame, all in good shape, also a set of tires and wheels that are good for rollers.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200
Parts vehicle with no drive train.
“Rare 1953 Willys CJ3B Highhood Jeep. Rolling Chassis. No motor, transmission, transaxle or drive shafts are included. The floor of the tub is in pretty good shape with no rust through. The tub will need some attention though as the rear corners are pretty beat up. The differentials have been set up as spring over axle but I know nothing about the condition of the axle internals. The frame will need new shackle mounts all around as the current mounting of the springs to the frame is ugly.”
