“Jeep has been stored for several years in barn. Needs clutch, and brakes.Great for collectors.”
This diesel powered M-38A1 made me smile. It looks pretty rough.
“I don’t know the year off hand. Here is a M38 Jeep M1 Diesel. That is right, it has a Isuzu diesel motor in it, same as the Chey Luv pickups. Comes with Meyer’s snow plow. I strongly suggest you take a look at the font window, it is hard to find and rare. I think I have a title but not sure. I will listen to any reasonable offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $650.
Engine stuck, but may have parts value.

(10/31/2014) This may be a good price.
“I have a 1950 Jeep Willys Wagon for sale or possible trade. Truck is in running condition with current tags. Has a 350 small block conversion. Some interior restoration has been done, but still needs more work of course. I just don’t really have the time for it right now, and am always interested in other opportunities. Body does contain rust and could use some restoring or is still drivable as is. Missing a few windows and transmission or clutch needs to be looked at as reverse seems to not shift into gear sometimes. All other gears work great and so does four wheel drive and transfer case. Has newer style offroad seats in front currently. Also has 33 inch tires.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $9500.
(09/30/2015) This is incorrectly listed as a 1947. Even if the year was correct, it isn’t all original.
“For sale 1947 Willys Jeep all original except ignition, soft top, and paint job.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $10,000
(02/25/2015) The price seems a bit high, but it might just be a placeholder.

“This has been something of a nastagia project for me so bought her and have enjoyed restoring the little cruiser. The kids in the neighborhood enjoy riding around in the circle and it has been great therapy for me.She is ready for paint and I don’t have a booth here in Utah.So you can pick your own color. She does need some new seats.I thought of using some from the s parts yard or some Cabelsa boat seats. It has a roll bar and Bikini top.Runs really good.I am looking for a road bike to do some traveling this summer.I have a Yamaha royal Venture needing a starter and new Stator. Will do some trading in that aspect.”

Wayne is selling his Jeepster project. You can contact him at ewhenson@bellsouth.net
“1949 Jeepster in need of restoration. I have most of the hard to find parts. It needs floorboards as these have rusted out, but new ones can be found on ebay and other places. It has some rust but I think it is a project worthy of the attention. I did not know the floor was rusted when I bought it, they had put metal signs over it and covered it with carpet. I have a flathead 6 and 3 speed tranny. The frame for the top is stored along with heater and other parts. I also have a flathead 4 with tranny in a 1948 station wagon if that was of more interest.”
